We will be out there racing 4800 class.

Is there usually a remote pit out there that we need to man? Or do we just have the main pit available?

I haven't raced it in 2 years, but at that time they had the main pit, and one remote pit. There wasn't too many people that sent crew to the remote pit though.

Sweet. That makes since. You coming out this year?

I am bouncing the idea of doing a half ass rebuild of a motor before then but I am running low on time .

Unfortunately not. Every year something has came up and this year is the same. The track is an absolute blast.
 
OTM 4580 will be there!

Did you get the email? Remote pit confirmed. We’re not going to man it though. Just going to do main pit.

Looking forward to hanging out with race people.
 
There’s something like 170 race vehicles entered. 80 YORR people and 90 Ultra4 people. Qualifying all morning snd SXS racing tonight
 
pretty good race day, didn't get to see many folks though and they screwed the usually pit watch areas so couldn't see much of the track. Smoke sucked and dust was okayish but lot of carnage as per normal.

I lost cell service on arrival and my phone didn’t work the whole time we were there, or I would have looked for you.

I’ll do some recap stuff later. JohnM4580 won the 4500 and overalled the morning race. My dad got second behind him. I got 3rd in 4600. Victor Beal rolled his 4800 Bronco II. Cody Addington got first in 4400 and Bailey Campbell got second.

Two 4600 rigs happened to miss the same corner and get in a pile up.

No problems, it always seems to get busy during race weekend and all the stuff you thought you could do gets blown out the window.

Gnarly, saw another balck and orange toy that had a real beat up Apillar and doors.
 
buddy running his home built 6100 also rolled hooking a berm. Wide stace on 35's so ruts where pretty deep to flip his truck on it's lid.

Congrats on the 3rd place finish and looking forward to a recap whenever you get time. Y’all got a fair amount of screen time and talking time during the portions of the race I got to watch.
 
I'll get my recap up soon as well! Awesome week. Always have a blast racing against you guys JR4X, it was a pretty close battle! We had #1 qualifier, fastest lap, and won, I'm SUPER HAPPY!!!!!
 
What are the stock class trucks like? Any pictures? What would be a good platform to start with?

What do you have? Alot of starting options but would avoid anything with IFS or 2wd.
