I know that these suck, and that I should just swap to whole front axle out... But, it's the winter beater that will just end up breaking half the bolts and cause much pain and suffering trying to replace it.
Only used for 1.5 years in 1987-1988, these things are hard to find. Apparently they often fail when the brakes stick and it melts the selector knob. The set on my truck function fine, but the aluminum has corroded away to the point of no return.
Even if you have one with melted plastic guts, I would still be interested. Recently scored one, but need to find at least one more before salt season comes back around. Thanks
