Wisconsin Dells Wednesday night

I'll be in Wisconsin dells Wednesday night. Planning on staying at mirror lake state park.

Anyone know the area or been there? Is it a decent place?

The Dells is sort of like Pigeon Forge or Gatalinburge , but smaller and colder.

The Del Bar, (WI Supper club) is decent for food.

The Ishnala Supper Club is on Mirror lake, supposed to be one of the best Wi supper clubs. Go early, the wait can be long.

Both have good old fashions.

There is some strip club near by.

They have one of the few places in the US with rock formations made out of Cambrian sandstone on he WI river. The Dells of the Wisconsin River covers a 5-mile long gorge made up of cliffs, canyons, and rock formations carved into Cambrian sandstone. You can do a duck boat ride.

Lots of indoor water parks.

As mentioned earlier, the Duck Boat ride is about as good as it gets there and you can check out the scenery and geology of the dells from the boat. After that there's plenty of touristy crap to do.

Been 40 years ago, but I remember the Upper Dells boat tour (not Ducks) that had shore landings. Witches Gulch was the most memorable part.

If you feel like gambling hit up the Ho-Chunk Casino in neighboring Baraboo. There's also some sort of circus museum in Baraboo.
