I fucking hate that shit.
buy something on ebay.
US Seller
US Shipping!
Ships from KY!
a zillion positive feedbacks.

no, it's not. I fucking hate that shit and ebay should ban winit sellers.

oh, but they provided ebay a tracking number, so there's not shit you can do about it, even though there's absolutely no way I'm getting my shit in the next week as advertised. That tracking number is gonna sit un updated until the shit shows up from china and then they're gonna actually hand it off to the post office.

oh and the stuff I was supposed to have by the 30th?

Estimated delivery period

19.04.2021 - 09.05.2021

maybe takes 6 months.
but not less than 4 fucking weeks.

this all reminds me why I stopped buying shit on ebay.

I am thinking that is april 19th to may 9th. European notation.

But yeah... sucks to be you, mannn

yes, but I ordered it on the 22nd, and ebay still says I'm gonna have it by the 30th, cause KY is the shippers location.

but the actual winit tracking says april 19 to may 5th.
and I've found in the past that it is also wholly unreliable, and you shit is actually shipping from china, so it may take 6 months.

and the whole time ebay will say "well they provided us with USPS tracking" even though that will plainly say that the USPS has never actually received the item.

then they will blame the covid.

then when your shit shows up well after the time you expected it and you leave negative feedback they will blame you for not getting your shit in a timely fashion for some reason and ebay will go ahead and scrub the feedback too.

I've done this bullshit before, the last time I shopped on ebay.

so after this if it's not a used part from a private seller I'm just done with ebay.
it's like a shitty budget version of amazon these days. Rife with chinese sellers outright lying about shipping locations/dates using this winit bullshit. Ebay is completely complicit.

Ebay is funny. A while back something said guaranteed by a certain date, it didn't make it so I reported it even though I really didn't care, it got here in 2 weeks instead of 1, but don't tell me something is guaranteed if it isn't. They gave me a $5.00 coupon and now I have this special disclaimer saying shipping is not guaranteed for anything but so far I've avoided the China shippers and still got things fairly quickly. If it says From China I move on. I haven't seen this winit stuff yet.

that's the problem. You don't know you're getting a winit logisitcs backed drop shipped item until after you buy and get a tracking number that's useless.

Every single thing in the ad said US shipping, from a US seller.
You don't get to find out it's coming from china until after you buy.

and then it's too late, because ebay ain't gonna do shit for you. You're just going to wait a month instead of 8 days as advertised.
http://winitamerica.com/index.php/about-us/
In November 2014, WINIT partnered with eBay to provide online merchants a customized overseas warehousing service; eBay sellers now can leverage WINIT’s core competencies to land and expand new business in a timely, reliable and transparent manner.

Our success began with Chinese cross-border ecommerce seller using our global fulfillment centers where they had successfully compete against local vendors in overseas markets. The result of this cross broader trading method is phenomenal, growing exponentially on a weekly basis. This success further validated our confidence of our vision of building a worldwide ecommerce community helping sellers grow their business from markets they were unable to reach before. Starting 2015, Win.IT America’s objective is to reproduce the same result for ecommerce merchants in the US, helping them gaining world market share using our oversea fulfillment centers in China, Australia, United Kingdom and Germany.

like I said, ebay is 100% complicit in duping people into thinking they are buying from a US vendor.

edit:
the last time I shopped on ebay was over a year ago, and when I finally convinced someone to give me a fucking refund it literally came from an account that converted the chinese yuan to dollars in the transaction.
so these are blatant chinese vendors using winit and telling ebay they're US sellers/shippers and ebay ain't gonna do shit about it.

Just lucky I guess. Feedback doesn't mention this?

nope.

1000 positive feedback in the last 12 months.
all the negative feedback is related to shit not being as expected.

not a single mention of shipping delays.
ebay will scrub those, because you got a tracking number the day you ordered it, so it must have been a shipper problem, not a seller problem.

That's some bullshit practices.

I am dealing with some Ebay BS that has me pretty pissed as well.

I need tires for 3 units

Found a seller that had expedited shipping that would get them here on Thursday

Fucking pay the $2,200 order.

Crickets

No shipping info

I write them

Crickets

Write them yesterday and again this morning - also crickets.

Fucking have 18,000 positive feedback so figure it would be good.

Well if you look at the negative feedback it is all long shipping and no responses to messages.

WF is this a seller for?

I am starting to get annoyed with ebay and been doing 90%+ of my buying there for over 15 years

Under item description, delivery info it says its shipping from China. Still BS its buried and mentions shipping from Texas.

This is my biggest annoyance as well. It says guaranteed delivery between two dates, the seller generates a tracking number so Ebay assumes the item has shipped, even though the item hasn't gone anywhere or even been prepared for shipment. Then the seller sits on it until right before the guaranteed delivery date has expired, finally ship the item, then Ebay magically updates their delivery info to make it look like the item arrived right on time.

I expect every Ebay order to go like this now then get pleasantly surprised when it arrives quickly. I actually ordered a USMC patch from a guy and it came with a hand written note from him thanking me for my business. Couldn't hardly believe real US sellers who care actually still existed there.

yes, which is why I say that ebay is complicit.

because there's a photo that says US Shipper, and the ebay item location is in the US, and shows up when you click the ebay button that says "only show me US items"

and while that says it may take 4-10 days for shipping from china, the item location is clearly marked in the US. Which is what the winit bullshit allows them to do.

Maybe it is stuck on a container ship in the suez canal right now. :smokin:

Well, I learned something today! Winit = bad. Never heard of the whole thing. Thanks, Manche.

Just another reason to avoid eBay. :/
