Will covid take out the human race

This virus is so bad that our loving government wants us locked in our homes, all the while they let in hundreds of thousands of covid positive wetbacks into the country and ship them all over.

Am I the only one who finds this to be somewhat of an odd way to fight a virus? Seems a bit more like handing out Smallpox blankets.

Not quite. From what I could gather from the doctors that have come out against the mRNA "vaccine" (lets call it a "vax" instead) who were involved with animal testing, is that having the vax can make your immune system take longer to recognize a new variant. Thus the variant has a longer period of time to do damage before your immune system kicks in, thus making the next variant worse than the previous one (for the vaxinated) and the only way to protect yourself once vaxinated is to get the next booster shot.

But that's only if we can believe the "alternative news" websites are accurately portraying the interviews, that someone actually interviewed these doctors, that these doctors were actually involved in the animal trials, or that these doctors actually exist at all. -> Welcome to the misinformation age.
The other way to protect yourself would be to just get the actual virus once and give up on the boosters. If indeed that becomes the issue, that's my plan- skip boosters and let nature do nature's thing since I'm fit and healthy. Sucks for at-risk people who need the shot if true though, they could potentially be trapped in an endless cycle of boosters unless something better comes along.

Yea, the key would be to do this sooner rather than later, I can only imagine it would get worse and worse with each "booster", but that is pure conjecture even if the articles/doctors are right since it doesn't sound like there's been a study of that kind (real or imaginary).

The question now is: how do we learn to wade through all the bullshit, slants, misdirection, and spam?
As you see in this thread you either take in as many sources as possible and the aggregate is going to be pretty close to the truth, or find sources that reinforce what you want to believe which will take you deep down rabbit holes.

It is also useful to sift out chinese propaganda, that is fairly easy because they are the most powerful and prolific malevolent force on earth right now. Anything positive about china should be treated with suspicion, there are plenty of shills in the west who will accept money to push their agenda.

So, the Lambda variant made it's way to Texas. I wonder how that happened?

Not really a question, because we all know the answer. The government is now actively getting people sick.

an unvaccinated Republican?

Dibs on the doughnuts
This one goofball in my 4wd club had a box of these in his hand and said, "Look! It's like a survival kit for cops, in case of emergency break glass", and made little hammering motions. Out resident LEO was not amused.

South Korea’s Disease Control and Prevention Agency said Tuesday that it had recorded at least two cases of the new coronavirus delta-plus variant, which some experts believe to be more transmissible than the original delta variant that was first detected in India and has since thwarted plans for returning to life before the pandemic.
But what do we know about “delta plus,” yet another new variant causing alarm among governments and health officials? First identified in Europe in March, the variant is also known as B. 1.617.2.1 or AY.1.
It has been detected in several countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States and India.

The variant and the others that the CDC is monitoring greatly underscore the need for ramped-up vaccination efforts, Hildreth said, pointing out the large swaths of the population who are still unvaccinated and minority communities with underlying health conditions that make them more susceptible to variants.
“The virus is not going to wait around for us to get our act together,” he said. “We’re in danger of something that’s going to set us back.”
“More transmissible than the original delta variant.” To put that in perspective:

Cool cool…#DeltaVariant is one of the most highly transmissible respiratory viruses, similar to chickenpox and more than Ebola, smallpox, MERS, SARS, Bird flu, 1918 pandemic flu!
But we’re just gonna let our unvaccinated children go to school without masks….. pic.twitter.com/uRHgHyAIrs

The “Delta plus” variant isn’t the only one kicking around.

Miami is just a petri dish of COVID variants.
University of Miami data from 2nd week of July shows 62% patients have Delta variant, 20% had Gamma (Brazilian), 9% B.1.621variant (Colombia) and 3% Lambda (Peru).
A month ago there was only 2 total identified patients w/ Delta.

And there are more letters in the Greek alphabet that have yet to be used.

A viral infection mutating through variants is hardly unusual. One of the reasons that there is no vaccine for the common cold is because there are so many variants that it is not possible, given the current state of the science, to produce a single vaccine to combat all of them. My guess is that the Wuhan virus is going to do the same thing as there are indications that the “Delta variant” may not respond to the vaccine developed for the garden variety Wuhan virus.

As I’ve posted over and over, none of this has anything to do with your health and everything to do with establishing control over the population. The Wuhan virus is here to stay. It is going to mutate because that is what viruses do. The arrival of new variants, like annual variants of the seasonal flu, is a given and largely immaterial because the evolutionary path of the virus is something over which we exercise little-to-no control. What is important is how the new variants will be used to circumscribe liberty. If the “Delta variant” is an example, each discovery of a new variety of the Wuhan virus will be accompanied by cries for lockdowns and a return to wearing face masks. These demands will be made regardless of the science, their purpose is to keep the general population jittery and compliant. If you recall, last year police were used to break up Easter services and funerals. Parents were arrested for playing with their children outside. Mounted police were employed to roust people from beaches and parks. Parties in private homes were forbidden. Violent demonstrations were outlawed…uh, strike that, that didn’t happen.

The one thing we’re seeing about the “Delta variant” is that whatever superpowers of transmissibility it possesses, it is much less lethal than Wuhan Classic. Infections don’t matter so long as the infected person lives through the experience and recovers. What does matter is how our freedoms and civil society are chipped away by people who would happily walk over your dead body if it increased their personal power.

If I was old and sickly, I wouldn't mind getting the boosters. I'm probably already visiting the doc often and getting all sorts of treatment anyway so what's one extra jab every now and then?
