I’m waiting for one that fits my drill battery system.Sure, I upsated the thread with a hospital grade lithium battery for the same price.
My point is no matter what you buy it's gonna need batteries at some point, I mean that's really all they are is two batteries and some cables.
if you don't got any broken tools to scavenge the coupler off of, they make the battery coupler thingies on ebay that got wires dangling off themI’m waiting for one that fits my drill battery system.
I bought a jnc 660 4 years ago because it that was the most recommended one. What a joke it struggles to start a lawnmower with a weak battery. I even replaced the battery in it a year ago.
Looking for something thatll actually work.
Pretty safe assumption it's hard on them but IDK how much a mower starter actually pulls. The $25 walmart U1 I put in everything says 230cca. If you're pulling 150 amps or so out of a 5ah battery thats 30C which is a lot for 18650's.if you don't got any broken tools to scavenge the coupler off of, they make the battery coupler thingies on ebay that got wires dangling off them
I use them on my riding mowers, you should disable the charging system though since it might be bad for li-ion batteries
I also only use my crappiest battery for mower starting duty since I dunno if the heavy draw will damage them
I have that one from Amazon under $100I've had this one for several years. Has lasted longer than any other I have bought. I've had 3 conventional lead acid ones and 2 other lithium battery ones. This one will start a big block at 20 degrees. My ATV battery wasn't taking a charge so I used it to start it a couple times and now the ATV battery is holding a charge again. I don't get it but I like it.
I got it at Tractor Supply on clearance for 70 bucks too.
good to know, I'll keep on avoiding using my good batteriesPretty safe assumption it's hard on them but IDK how much a mower starter actually pulls. The $25 walmart U1 I put in everything says 230cca. If you're pulling 150 amps or so out of a 5ah battery thats 30C which is a lot for 18650's.
I know a few people who have that DSR. It's really good for the money and the batteries are replaceable.
He said hand crank is superior. What the fuck are you talking about?
FYI, I can't find replacement batteries for DSR's that are any good. I have a PSJ-3612 that needs new batteries but have struck out finding the OEM replacements. The nice part about the older PSJ's is the inbuilt charger. The new ones have sperate chargers that is more of a PITA than I'd like to admit. The clamps on the new ones are junk compared to the old ones as well.I know a few people who have that DSR. It's really good for the money and the batteries are replaceable.

An m18 will work to jump a car battery once. It will fully drain the battery to start a car, but it does work.
cereal-Ly? Thats big gay. These were older models, and the took a standard Li-on battery used at a few junk yards. They held up well, but cost way more than the ones listed.FYI, I can't find replacement batteries for DSR's that are any good. I can't understand how capacitor technology hasn't been used for this yet.An m18 will work to jump a car battery once. It will fully drain the battery to start a car, but it does work.

We've got one of those at work, and I have the 12v only with built in 120v inverter at home. They both use an external charger. Why on earth they can integrate a 120v inverter but not a charger I do not know. They do a great job jump starting, but are a step backwards from the previous ones IMHO.cereal-Ly? Thats big gay. EDIT* Here is a link to the better one. IDK if it's the one you are talking about.
Here
Guessing the junk ones are li-ion. The antigravity one I have is absolutely useless in the cold, which is when most of my dead battery issues happen. Cold weather power is Pb territory, who cares if it weighs a little more if it works.Jump and Carry
Have 2 others, one from Wallmart and the other from Schucks that are shit. Go into some safety mode if the unknown parameters aren't just right and it's done.
Real awesome when trying to start something when it's dark, -30* and trying to get somewhere.
Stupid things together wouldn't even light off my F350 at 70* with slightly dead batteries from leaving a dome light on too long.
The JNC gives no shits about bullshit safeties.
Best jump pack I've seen was in a service truck. 4 ea 4D batteries . Had Anderson plug jumpers to make it 12 or 24vGuessing the junk ones are li-ion.
