Who are your Trump dream cabinet picks?

So the Gaetz article doesn't define the act as criminal so was it illegal or just in poor taste? And is the problem that she was a paid (implication being willing) participant or that she was under 18? If he dressed in drag on his off time, would this then be part of his culture that we aren't permitted to judge??

Oddly enough the age of consent is 16 in Maryland, DC and VA, so the swamp creatures can legally do that where they live.

If she was a few years older it would be OK for slick willy to use her as a humidor? Are hookers only OK for hunter? So many unanswered mysteries to ponder.

I think this might not be so bad from the AG's office:

Former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) on Thursday said he was withdrawing from consideration as President-elect Trump’s nomination to be attorney general.

Gaetz announced the decision in a message on X:

I had excellent meetings with Senators yesterday. I appreciate their thoughtful feedback – and the incredible support of so many. While the momentum was strong, it is clear that my confirmation was unfairly becoming a distraction to the critical work of the Trump/Vance Transition. There is no time to waste on a needlessly protracted Washington scuffle, thus I’ll be withdrawing my name from consideration to serve as Attorney General. Trump’s DOJ must be in place and ready on Day 1. I remain fully committed to see that Donald J. Trump is the most successful President in history. I will forever be honored that President Trump nominated me to lead the Department of Justice and I’m certain he will Save America.

That didn't take long. In a surprise move, on Thursday morning, former Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL) abruptly withdrew his name from consideration as Attorney General in the incoming Trump administration.

Citing concerns that his nomination was proving to be a distraction from the Trump-Vance agenda and the ability of the new administration to "be in place and ready on Day 1," Gaetz affirmed his commitment to seeing that Trump's second term is a success.

The question then became who President-elect Trump would select as his replacement nominee. We now have an answer to that. Trump has announced former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi as his new nominee for the spot.

I am proud to announce former Attorney General of the Great State of Florida, Pam Bondi, as our next Attorney General of the United States. Pam was a prosecutor for nearly 20 years, where she was very tough on Violent Criminals, and made the streets safe for Florida Families. Then, as Florida’s first female Attorney General, she worked to stop the trafficking of deadly drugs, and reduce the tragedy of Fentanyl Overdose Deaths, which have destroyed many families across our Country. She did such an incredible job, that I asked her to serve on our Opioid and Drug Abuse Commission during my first Term — We saved many lives!
For too long, the partisan Department of Justice has been weaponized against me and other Republicans - Not anymore. Pam will refocus the DOJ to its intended purpose of fighting Crime, and Making America Safe Again. I have known Pam for many years — She is smart and tough, and is an AMERICA FIRST Fighter, who will do a terrific job as Attorney General!

Bondi received her undergraduate degree in criminal justice from the University of Florida and her law degree from Stetson Law School in 1990. She served as a prosecutor in Hillsborough County, Florida, then as the state's attorney general from 2011 to 2019.

Most recently, Bondi worked with the America First Policy Institute.

Presumably, she'll face fewer headwinds in the confirmation process, though undoubtedly, the left will find some reason to take issue with the nomination. Stay tuned!

It's so strange how the woman hating fascist dictator who wants to take away women's rights keeps putting women in important roles.

Pretty sure that there is a subset of the population/media who will claim it’s because he’s a rapist.

Translation: I was bluntly told that my name would be dragged through the mud with all sorts of spurious allegations and that even if confirmed the allegations wouldn't stop.
And any effort Matt puts up to fight it only legitimizes those allegations since establishment "entertainment" can get away with saying whatever they want.
