not sure about ford but my twin screw Chevy has 7.17 axles and an 8.05:1 first in the Allison. And it's slow as hell but unstoppable in low at 3mph.

should be an industrial 429. I used to drive one of those with a Marmon Herrington 4x4 conversion. 429 5 speed Rockwell divorced t-case, Rockwell front loader axles, 20K pto winch on it. No articulation and double open diffs it could get stuck in a ditch in 4wd. But in mud that thing was unstoppable. I used to get called out to the oilfield to go do extractions with it. Pulled a couple of 14,000 pound service trucks out of mud buried up to the doors.
