Way out West.
Came back from the range yesterday and parked the 4Runner in the driveway. Came out later and it had puked out all it's PS (ATF) fluid. So you think it's the pump, hoses or the rack. 1998 4Runner Limited. Has King 2.0's up front and I drive it fairly fast over rocky roads. I'm hoping it's not the rack, but I think it just might be. Has full skid plates underneath so won't know for sure till I get them off, and it's hot as balz here now, so might be slow progress.

Could us some moar pics.

I never put ATF in rack and pinion steering. Toyota can take it fairly well, I suppose, but doing that has been known to swell the rack seals and blow them out. Earlier GM racks were bad about that.

Well, Toyota recommends Dextron III, so that's what I used.
