Probably the worst place to ask, but what the hell.

I know there's more than a few here that are expecting Pelosi herself knocking on your door to take your guns, and school admirations run by Burn Loot Murder, doors guarded by Black Panthers. Voting removed indefinitely. And CW2 occurring. But realistically, what can we expect?

What I'm figuring:
  • [*=1]Gun components, reloading supplies, and ammunition- nowhere to be found. Gone. Even now I was able to scrape up five boxes of large rifle primers, but even that will be impossible.
  • [*=1]Social media giants, off the leash with no limits. Places like Twitter and Facebook becoming the main (are they already) source of all information; heavily moderated. Take the "truck running Biden bus off the road" incident. Any other content disproving otherwise, removed with an IP ban. I get to see the first hand effects of this. My wife's brother's girlfriend repeats this stuff all the time. 100% convinced during the Trump administration, gun violence is an all time of all history. "school shootings on an almost daily basis". There's no getting through to her. She's also here from a socialist, eastern European country. I can't be around her for more than 3m before a fight breaks out. Totally divided my wife's family.
  • [*=1]Gas prices skyrocketing, obviously.
  • [*=1]Housing market crashing. Which, sounds horrible, but I'm fine with it. We've been looking to get another rental so in the end maybe we'll snag something cheap at the end of the crash. Just sucks for those that this affects.
  • [*=1]Unemployment at an all time high. Illegals granted citizenship, taking over jobs. Be neat if I got a confirmation on this, but Biden was proposing an additional $1000 a week for UE? If that's the case, no one will work. Perhaps that will open a few doors for me for a possible career switch. [*=1]Health insurance rates going up.
  • [*=1]Masks becoming "the new norm" over the course of the years. I have people in the office that actually like them. Gives them "something else to dress up with". :shaking:
  • [*=1]Can't speak on retirement. Totally not my wheelhouse.
  • [*=1]School are going to be my tough spot. Pushing gender dysphoria and the like. Painting Trump and his doing in the White House as a negative. I already plan on being a an large advocate in my kid's schooling. I'll be on every board and commission there is.
Iunno. Some of this stuff may sound like the deep end. Probably missing a few things. I honestly don't think it'll that bad as some people are saying. Its going to suck just awful, but I don't see an end-of-the-world dictatorship, pick up that can thing happening. Liberals will have their la-la land fantasy, until reality strikes them in the face with a pink slip and foreclosure notice.

I'm confident it will swing back in our favor. We survived the Obama years.

edit: I can't explain the *=1 dealio in my checklist :homer:

I have been preparing for a last stand in my driveway as the brown shirts lead by BETO come door to door for confiscation.
(only kinda joking)

Some form of socialized medicine.

Push to make Puerto Rico and DC a state

Open Borders

No voter ID and everyone gets to vote

Nation wide mail in voting

Mask mandate for the next 24-36 months

War in the middle east

Oil industry gutted and GREEN energy gets even more government money

Copied from another thread... applies here also.

Many of us here aren't shocked by either sides asinine behavior. We have more than a couple of decades into this life after all... and like "Farmers", we have seen a thing or two.

I'm over here like "meh, what's the big deal"? Seriously?

The Senate is ruled by the Republicans, pretty much nullifying any chance Biden has at drafting any conceptual ideology into law. Oof. That same Senate will approve Amy Coney Barret's appointment to the Supreme Court. Double Oof (A 6-3 SCJ panel!? wow). The House of Rep's has been crippled by an influx of new Republican's voted in this cycle.... dang! Gonna have a much more difficult time getting things done there now! And even if they do, the Senate just squashes it anyways.

That red leaning Supreme Court will keep a conservative streak going for at least a decade... the Senate/ outside entities will challenge any and all E.O.'s drafted for the newly elected (I use that term sparingly, for the moment) President. Oof.

I will sit back and watch the celebration of the newly elected President Biden, and happily so! In the end it literally makes NO difference. :grinpimp: I really don't know why so many assume his presidency is gonna make so many lives better.

You know it, I know it... most rational people do. It will kick in to the heads of those driveling fools later on a couple months after inauguration, and we may still enjoy some rioting after all. Have yer mallows and hot dog's ready. :homer:

Yea, these I can see. The medicine one has me a little concerned. Last pricing on my meds was $18,000 per injection I take once a week.

The better question would be what to expect from Harris and Pelosi administration....that's where this is going.

Well, yea. I see that too. Trying not to get too far ahead of myself. :homer:

You're leaving out a pretty big part. They (and the world knows it) were able to cheat enough to unseat a president. In two years many Senate seats will be up for election....use your head and think about it.

The biden campaign has been wishy washy on every single thing they supposedly ran on except for three things:

#1 National Mask Mandate on day 1
#2 Nationwide 3 month lock down on day 1 (which would really just turn into forever like now)
#3 Assault weapons and high capacity magazine ban

cant wait

I see this whole mandatory mask thing. I wear one for about 12 seconds. From my desk, to the employee entrance of my building. That's it. All the stores have "masks required". I, along with more and more others, don't wear one. They going to station a guard out front or something? Block entry? I don't see how that can be policed.

Lock down I see a possibility, but a stretch. There going to be road blocks barring entry in every town?

I am thinking about it... they haven't quite accomplished that yet. It will be for the courts to decide in that regard and to expose that corruption. I was merely pointing out the flawed logic of focusing solely on the Presidency. Not the brightest minds we are dealing with here.

People in this country tend to think the President has more power than they actually do.

Pelosi won't quit the house she enjoys being the big frog in the little pond and no way would she be second banana to Harris

Within two days of being sworn in, Biden is going to get section 25'd and we get Pres Kamala... who then goes apeshit crazy enacting Calif shit legislation nation wide.

I'm thinking she either enters rehab after Trump exposes voter fraud and corruption successfully. OR, she has a tantrum in the house and commits involuntary manslaughter in a gavel fit that goes awfully wrong, because she knows any and all steps are fruitless in her position. :grinpimp:

I don't see two days. I'm seeing March.

I think there are a few barriers in place to turn the entire nation to CA. For whatever reason, I don't it going BOOP, YOU'RE ALL IN CALIFORNIA. Few things like tax rates, higher cost of living, the ever long battle for gun rights getting stronger, yes. But full on Lefty lunacy? ehhhhh

There will be some sort of bullshit lockdown. After the lockdown is complete, all of a sudden, they will claim it’s gone, or completely under control and that’s all Trump had to do to go away.

Every single promise they made to better the lives of their supporters will not happen. They will continue to load their pockets and their supporters will constantly tell us how good of a job they’re doing because CNN says so.

Those blaming trump because they’re failures and suck at life will still be failures and suck at life at the end of Biden/Harris and it will once again be a Republicans fault.

VP get nominated and Congress votes? I think? Something like that IIRC.

25th amendment.

Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.

Do you really think the senate will vote for Pelosi ?

My comment was mostly tongue in cheek ;)

But don't be shocked by the power of stupid. I'm sure Kamala would love to EO shit into existence. Imagine the stupid things she could "force" EPA and ATF to do.

Do you really think the spineless bastards in the Senate will refuse them? Seriously.....they will not.

Executive orders. Lots of them... as if Oprah was giving them away.

What's the over/under on how many executive orders the Biden/Harris administration does?

Harris/Obama, maybe.... I don't think Pelosi would be VP.
