It's on a 2021 John Deere Gator. It's in line between the fuel filter and the carburetor and connected to the valve cover.
Any wires connected to it ?
Just hoses one in one out ?
Call a JD dealer.
This is what I figured when I guessed. Interesting, never delt with one.Vacuum operated fuel pump. The line to the head will be a vacuum port.
Take it out, you don’t need it in there. Just run a T in the line and have a long fuel line run up to the driver seat. Then when you start it up and run it, just suck on the line. But you’ll have to suck hard. Harder then this thread sucks.
They tend to work, for a long time. I have had them break where the fuel lines attach. Looks like a kawi motor. This is what I figured when I guessed. Interesting, never dealt with one.
Vacuum pump?Anyone mention a fuel pump?
Your vacuum uses fuel? What kind of Mad Max Hoover do you have?It might be a vacuum fuel pump, in case nobody has mentioned it.

Along with a vial of blinker fluid. It contains extra muffler bearings. For when the originals wear out.
Unpossible. Nothing sucks that hard, even a black hole was defeated in the suck contest by Kackles.Suck harder than Kackles?
You and your fancy talk. Just say it's PFM, pure fucking magic and if you open it up you will let the magic escape.Hooked to the valve cover it uses pressure pulses from the crankcase (not vacuum)to operate the diaphragm in the pump
I thought the fuel flowing thru the pump actuated the diaphragm to create vacuum pulses for the motor allowing the motor to suck in the fuel. You and your fancy talk. Just say it's PFM, pure fucking magic and if you open it up you will let the magic escape.
How can you explain magic? It just happens.I thought the fuel flowing thru the pump actuated the diaphragm to create vacuum pulses for the motor allowing the motor to suck in the fuel.
Venturi effect from the carb pulls fuel thru the lines, duhHow can you explain magic? It just happens.
