Or, should we send you a bus of Haitians to clean it up?

Putting out a trap tonight. I read watermelon and marshmallows are the go to. Probably do this for a while since if there is one, there are more.
I've caught Coons, Opossums and Groundhogs in this type of trap.
Set it on the ground and open it up and stand back. They're not going to bust out of the trap. They're usually cautious about coming out. Once its out, it'll run off.
You better travel a long way away, 20 miles plus or they will return.
No, I didn't notice. They have a small, medium and large. I have the large one. I tried catching a fox thats hanging around with it but that's not going to happen.Did you notice the size of that trap?
Were it me I wasnt able to poke a couple cb shorts into it. I'd drop the trap into a garbage can of water and deal with it in a couple of hours
I'm not sure mine is any larger and I've caught what I was trying to catch and some I wasn't...
Video for us just in case things go haywire?Yeah, its a sturdy cage...............I think at least. I will probably just end up catching my dog
If I catch it, I will drive it out to the country and let it go and hope it doesn't attack me on the way out. I'll be holding a small bat as I do. Mental plan is to put opening end over the edge of the tailgate and open it up, jump the fuck back and wait for it to head out and fall on the ground and hopefully run away.
Can they jump up into the back of the truck if it is so inclined? Never been around them and do not know anything about them.
Loaded up a bunch strawberries, watermelon and big marshmallows on the far end. We shall see.
Here it is

And lots of rodents too.its not bothering anything and it might be keeping the damn rabbits in check.
Yeah, I think I'll let it be. There was 3 of them but one looked to be loosing alot of hair. Over the past couple of weeks I've only seen the one.And lots of rodents too.
I guess there a little more hostile where I live about the size of a cocker spaniel with tasmanian devil attitude. I should have known better trying to catch a wood chuck this one was quick and hanging near the road I took a few shoots but resorted to the trap I use for feral cats. The next morning I had a big coon in the cat trap and it was pissed. There's a lot of racoons in this area I'm about 1/4 mile from Coon lake my trash can has cargo straps to keep the lid tight. They're usually cautious about coming out
I had one young small coon I had to wake up to get it to come out. It was snoozing and then looked up like "what's up". Once I got it coxed out of the trap, it took off.I guess there a little more hostile where I live about the size of a cocker spaniel with tasmanian devil attitude. Anyhow this prick of a coon mangled that cage and the ground around got trashed. I checked on him once a day for a few days maybe three or four and that freak still had not calmed down I figured the heat would wear it down. Another time I had one walk right in my garage after work I said hey it looked up at me turned around and slowly waddled out. I also have idiot neighbors that feed the feral cats I have more issues with them than the racoons.
I agree with WaterH. I don’t have chickens or a garden, and my dogs are big. So I’ve always enjoyed watching coons. They’re curious fuckers.I think it was a beneficial predator.
Everyone told me to use cat food to catch skunks, I guess ours didn’t get the memo 🤨. I think they have moved on though. The only activity on the camera in that area are rabbits and a feral cat.Tuna works well, may catch a skunk though
Were you born at night or just last night?....since I would assume if there is one, there are many.
Apparently last night if you think that I am going to tell my neighbor what they can and can't do, or that they would even listen. Just like I wouldn't want, or listen to them, if they told me what I can do.Were you born at night or just last night?
Yes there are more than one. To repeat myself tell your neighbor to knock off the outdoor cat food. Cats don't need to be rescued; dogs do.
I have seen cats and racoons fighting up in trees but I have never seen either dead up in those trees. They figure it out like Thunderdome.
My sister in N CA had a neighbor she told to stop feeding the animals, when they didn't she called the Fish and Game on them. Fish and Game made them stop and relocated/euthanized a few bears. Neighbors were hand feeding black bears and had been been for years, they'd even been attacked and tore up by a bear. It had gotten to the point it was dangerous to walk outside. Dumb neighbors.Apparently last night if you think that I am going to tell my neighbor what they can and can't do, or that they would even listen. Just like I wouldn't want, or listen to them, if they told me what I can do.
Who the fuck do you think you are to tell people what animals should be rescued or what to do on their property?
Kindly fuck off with your opinions.

One must get rid of the cats then the neighbor will not put out the cat food your welcomeApparently last night if you think that I am going to tell my neighbor what they can and can't do
Cats are easier to shoot than coons. Coons have that bandit mask and expressive face, and they pick things up with their little hands. Cats are varmints. One must get rid of the cats then the neighbor will not put out the cat food your welcome
Kitty cats kill a bunch of tweety birds. And lizards. If my neighbor was sheltering bears, we would talk. Somewhat of a large difference to kitty cats.
And rabbits , squirrels, chipmunks, mice and rats. I have no issues with feral cats I have issues with people putting them on food stamps, Next thing the coons start showing up for dinnerKitty cats kill a bunch of tweety birds. And lizards.
