What's new

What did you do to your yota today?

Changed out my wife's 4Runner license plate lights today with some chicom led's. Bolivar cops puller her over last night saying their plate reader couldn't read her plate and she had no lights. No ticket.

It's that time of year where there's road filth spraying everywhere and suv's just suck it all onto their back hatches.

So they were fishing and thats the best excuse they could come up with on why they pulled her over?

That's was one of our guesses. But then again, her ride has been covered in mud spray from the gravel roads. I guess just because their plate reader won't pick up the plates, they want to pull you over and check. She was blocks away from the hospital she works at and had her badge on, so was let off right away.

Replaced the passenger side end seal on my steering rack. Hopefully that lasts, between junk china steering racks and expensive oem I don’t want to replace it.

Put new headlight housings in the Rav4. Now I need to wait until it gets dark to aim them.

Not a damned thing.

Put new OME Dakar springs on Tacoma last week, replacing the old style Dakars… fixed mounts, frozen bushings, etc.

Now it’s waiting for new AT shifter bushings…

Thinking about ordering a Pedal Commander for the 5th gen

Bought some Chevy 63s and set them on my Toyota thingy

Finally replaced the AT shifter bushings... a pack of 10 from Toyota is $15-ish and 4 are needed.

This is what is left of the 4 original bushings...

Ordered an 800 dollar PRP bench to match the front ones I have in the prebummer

DD Tacoma had a exhaust leak that I ignored and now replacing catalytic converter and both O2 sensors....:shaking:

Spent all day sorting out this tangled bush of hoses, brake lines and wires, painted the frame, and added a crossmember.

looks like you forgot shock mounts. :flipoff2:

Wipe the cum out of your eyes, they are on there:flipoff2:
ha... for some reason, didn't see the driver's side... passenger side looks like exhaust hangers until zoomed. 🤷‍♂️

New clutch master and slave cylinders installed and bled last night. Ain't much, but feels like progress.

Noticed today that my clutch is kinda hanging up for a few seconds every time I shift it. I'm probly just going to ignore it and hope it fixes itself

On the plus side. For the past year or so, one of my blinkers would stop working if you got on the brakes. It now works all the time, an I didnt do anything to it. So I got that going for me:laughing:

I aired up it's tires the other day to get the rims off the ground. passenger rear is flat again already

Found out why my assist cylinder has a ‘catchy’ spot. I think it is beyond rebuilding, (12 year old trail gear 1.5x6”). The cylinder wall is fuggerd up to match the piston.
