Was my rig but sold it to my buddy. Still counts since its in my back yard still too.

This time it was a lesson on electrical stuff. And how old stuff gets shitty. He got to learn about changing a turn signal switch with a hacked harness. Process of elimination.

Changed sparkplugs, cap, rotor, coil, oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, ecm and checked the plug wires... passed smog and no longer feels like the parking brake is on when you try to drive in (1) gear selection.

Got the sorta ton back, been picking up couple of 10ft mowers.

Repaired the steering wheel that had loose foam. I punched holes in it with a leather punch and injected rtv in them working in a clockwise direction.

Greased steering stuff, changed air filter, took bedliner out, removed skid plates-plum full of mud. Girlfriend changed oil and filter. All on the "new" 2500HD

S10 has been running shitty, I haven't been driving it to work for fear of it leaving me stranded. I drove it yesterday pouring the coal to 'er and set a check engine light, misfire #3 cylinder.
Spark plug wire failure, repaired and all good now.

Where'd you get the seat components?

General Motors 99-06 GM OEM SEAT Spring Assembly Silverado Tahoe Sierra from amazan. Used the cheapest foam and cover off fleabay. I think the spring grid is the key. It came with new coil springs also. The cover was a bit of fun to get on.
I did not take whole seat out, just removed bottom cushion. It might be easier to take whole seat out for reinstall.

Theres a fuck load of work and parts but this was the hard part.

Put the 205 on and pulled the oe manifolds and dropped on the headers for clearance checks and begin mock up for the y pipe.

Then these 2 jackasses came around.

'89 c3500 7.4L

Fuel pump continues to run... intermittently.

This is the oil pressure sending unit that operates the fuel pump. Oil contaminated wire insulation caused a short.

Fixed.

I put them in individual conduits back up until the wire insulation is good then stuck them in a big conduit that fit over the factory conduit.

The LLY was starving for fuel, with a newer filter, but I've been drawing off a bulk tank, nearing the bottom, so I changed the filter no change. Assumed it was the pickup clogged, so I cleaned out the bed, removed the toolbox, tilted the bed, clean as could be

Just a good time for a factory nylon hose to suck itself shut, the one by the t case, not under the bed

Pulled hub on 2500HD , replaced seal, parking brake shoes,rotor,caliper on right rear. Gonna do other side another day.

Changed the lock cylinder and adjusted the ignition switch that I installed 2 weeks ago .
