What did you do for your ford today?

I did similar to a 4.9 because reservoir was leaking along with few other items, I left the solenoids in place. Worked great except without the reservoir under extended period of load (like pulling a long hill) the ac would lose vacuum and default to defrost. I resolved by putting a check valve in the line going to the cab.

I removed the reservoir can because I figured, since I removed my A/C sys, I wouldn't have vacuum issues like you mentioned.

Now I'm going to use that space to mount another battery, or two.:grinpimp:

Put new spark plugs in the 2013 expedition at 133k. I bought it at 80k and have done minimal maintenance. Slight misfire the other week on vacation while putting 3k on it in a week. May have been caused by this. :shaking:

My 09 F two shiddy wouldn't start Monday morning, crank but no fire, I parked if Sunday afternoon with no issues :(
After checking into it today I found that it has power to the fuel pump but no ground, I cut the wire and drilled the frame and added my own ground, all seems well, damn Fords! :flipoff2:

Looks like my calculation was correct; bypass A/C pulley with 91" fan belt (stock is 99"):

Nice! What was your measurement method? I used a piece of wire and subtracted 1" from the measurement.. and I was still wrong at least twice +/- when I had to figure out 3 different v-belts :homer:

I picked two points to measure from (red dots) :

And measured the belt length between two said points with A/C pulley, and then without.
And then subtracted that difference; which turned out to be 8".
And then subtracted said 8" from the stock length of 99", getting 91".

I cleaned the majority of the mouse nest out of the HVAC system in the ranger, just so I can try to blow cool outside air tru the floor vents.

Thinking about cracking open the ol motorkunt 2150 and attempt to diagnose it

Fucking piece of shit excursion. (2001v10) So I was supposed to change the fuel filter two years ago, I just stuffed it under the seat because it wasn't clogged, I know how miserable they are and I probably couldn't find my quick disconnect bullshit tool, then either.

Fast forward to today. I found the leak I had been smelling for two weeks, still couldn't find my tool so I bought a new set, engine side came apart easy, tank side was a miserable ****, when it did come apart two o-rings a copper washer and some plastic band was on the nipple. Transferred all that shit to the new fuel filter, shoved it together and no click so now there's a few zip ties holding that shit from blowing apart spraying fuel everywhere.

Finally found a factory center jump seat cup holder/coin holder for the OBS…. Really nice shape. Hour away and over priced, but took almost 18 months to find…. And still 1/2 price of the ones I’ve found on eBay

A week or so ago I finished cleaning up and rebuilding my 205 for my b2 project. I'm preparing to get a 435 I have ready next if I can motivate myself after work
