Everyone has been moving to College ball for years, and the fans were already fanatical. These are fans who are not alumni of their Institutions, the SEC is by far the worst offender in this. College ball fans religiously watch their teams, providing all of the evidence that McDonald's and GM need to say "welp, we better support BLM and do more diversity hiring" even though white rednecks are the ones that buy GM's profitable products.
