What's new

Well this should be interesting...Canadian politicians have been covertly working with foreign governments.

Didn't wasserman-schultz's driver turn out to be a spy as well?
No, her dude was Pakistani. He stole a bunch of computers and info and then fled to Pakistan. He hired some family to do cybersecurity stuff for her and her staff.

A guaranteed nothing burger... This will disappear. Investigations and inquiries controlled by the most corrupt and disingenuous entities in the most inept government we've ever had. The bar is mind-bogglingly low.

The most surprising thing about this is that there are people that are actually surprised that it is going on. Do we really need a news bombshell to tell us that there are illicit activities going on among the group of most power hungry people in the country?
Is this only happening in countries where it has been 'discovered'? I think not!
Just because we didn't hear about it til now doesn't mean it wasn't happening.

Besides, this is happening in a country where a big news story is a huge maple syrup robbery, and a bread price fixing scandal.:lmao:

Also, reading that msn article I see this "parliamentarians have worked with foreign missions to mobilize voters during a political campaign"
Oh.My.Gawd! Say it isn't true!

Are you seriously trying to tell me that people, who want to be elected by voters, actually had the nerve to try and mobilize those voters?

Get a rope!

And we all know what this actually means. Here in Canada, it means that Chinese and East Indian immigrants are now in positions of power and are receiving help from their home countries to try and influence policy here. Anyone who did not expect this has had their head on the sand for a long time.

I don't mean that in a racist way either. Immigration has been good for Canada and good for me for job stability and opportunity. IMHO where we fell short was that rather than entrenching a "this is Canada and will stay Canada!" philosophy, past and current govt have a "hey, no worries, we will change policy and law to make Canada more like your home country" philosophy.
And now we are surprised when the more aggressive nations start bulldozing the very laid back Canadian govt from within? Ha! You reap what you sow.
