Damn light wouldnt turn on in the hotel I'm in and I realized it wasnt plugged in.... followed by realizing something else was wrong in the dark

And it wasnt like an Oh fuck! Shock it was a high frequency vibration through my muscles and for whatever reason held onto it a good seconed or 2 before my brain processed something being wrong.

:lmao: My grandmother had a lamp with that same kind of plug it's supposed to have a cover on that but it falls off easily. It's probably still on the cord though.
It's funny because it also happened to me.

I wonder what the previous occupant's handle is on Irate. :flipoff2:

That's the sweet tingle of settlement if you so desire.

Ought to do it. If that's UL listed, how are they going to know that their endorsement needs to be changed?

If it's not UL listed, what's it doing in a commercial hotel room owned by Apu and Minjay?

What happens when a toddler gets a hold of it?

Tort exists for a reason.

Not sure about all of that but I'm still satisfied with my $45 room

We were in Deming and I tried to turn on the bedside lamp and the knob came off the last guy in the room had broken it off then used a piece of paper to wedge it back on

110v is just angry bees. Not likely to kill you but you don't want to hold it for long either!

You do know that listed only means the manufacture says it testing says it meets their standards, what you want is UL Tested

Do you think that was the important information?

Things get UL listed based off non damaged components, that's clearly damaged. :homer:

That will wake you up for sure 2BB!!

In fact it is important in that people assume that because it says it is UL Listed that means it is safe when it might not be.
Definatly more importatnt than the drivel you post hourly

110v is the #1 killer of people in the US for electrocution.

Not high voltage lines, not 220v, not anything else. 110v is the king killer year after year.

Oh will you fuck off with your Reddit OSHA culture virtue signaling bullshit.

110v kills people in the US because soooooo many people are exposed to it. It's like driving. Not really that deadly but a nation of 300+mil is still gonna rack up a pretty big body count.

Edit: need to look at post dates better or close tabs more often.
