This is the first time I've seen this 'word' in print. I instantly knew what it was and I am very disappointed in myself. I am also disappointed in you. I hope to God you invented this spelling and we can stop it now. Sadly, I'm afraid you picked it up somewhere else and it's already on it's way to regular usage. My day has been soured.

Apparently OP was raised in beauty pageants and trans book reading events and had no real father/grandfather influences in his life.
Bing says the plastic quart oil container came out in 1984.

You can use google if you like, but it's probably the same answer.
So I'm wrong for giving OP shit for how he doesn't know what an oil can opener with spout is, on an automotive forum no less, because his patriarchal influences in his childhood didn't exist?

Guess no one born after 1965 knows what this is then either.

I've never seen the fancypants version on the right that OP posted. Seen plenty of the one on the left. Rooney77 you must have had a rich as fuck grandfather if you were using those. What's your dad's excuse for squandering the wealth? :flipoff2:

Those still get used at the airport kinda hard to come by tho usually the spout ones can be found on fleabay

My uncle had a church key hanging on the dash of his 49 F-100
I can remenber when oil cans were tin, and then they went to cardboard with tin tops, then the plastic ones came out

The other day I watched a cheesy Bikers in Cambodia movie titled The Losers with William Smith made in 1970. In one scene they were drinking a Miller HighLife from an Upside down can. I looked it up,Movie was made in the Phillipines, apparently they didn't have pull tops there then. Pretty sure you didn't have to use a

in the USA then but I was only 9 and my Dad didn't drink beer so who knows?

Have you been living under a rock? Usage has been used here and on Pirate.

Oh look, a dress wearing fella's intellect... Pops owned a auto repair garage, just used the wider funnel version w/flexible hose. One had to press tin oil can with heel/palm of hand.

I rally against trans book readings to kids. Sorry fag :rainbow:, I gotta go- :flipoff2:

The first time I remember seeing oil in plastic quart bottle's was 1984 it was Quaker State I'm thinking but don't quote me on that lol .
