Target was at 50 yards using bulk pack Federal Automatch. Not bagged, just off the orange plastic rest in the first pic...not too shabby for $20 scope on $120 gun with bulk ammo.

Last pic, center Ram with the two flags is at 200 yds...with 50yd zero, holding at the flags would ring it every time :smokin:
First trip with the 67, was able to ring the same Ram after some trial and error with the irons.

Blah, blah..braggitty brag....

I have at least half a dozen .22s , they are by far my favorites, the vintage Winchesters top the list for me...still waiting for the right mod 52...

Whudda you degenerates plink with?

Been on a pistol kick lately.

Had to cut a lil on it, but stuck it on a officer frame and its a riot:smokin: doesnt like more than 6 rounds in the mag. Still gotta figure that out

The Marvels set the bar pretty fucking high IMO:smokin:

That marvels is just dumb. Killed alot of stuff with that rig. Still looking for the right red dot though

No pics, but a few. Two 10-22s. One newish plastic stock, other one an older full stock version. Two Remingtons 597s. One won't feed an entire mag, ever! Never have shot the second one I got. The old-old tube fed, make unknown, shoots as well or better than the others. I much prefer plinking with it.
Although I really can't shoot for shit I like pistols more. 38's to 45's. Especially 45Colt. Need a Henry big boy in 45.

I have a Remington 521T with a Lyman peep sight and a Winchester Model 06. The 06 has faster sights and pump action so it’s the squirrel gun. The 521 is more accurate especially past 50 yards. They’re both a lot of fun.

fwiw....16 rounds is much better than 10:grinpimp:

Bookmarked! thx!

I got one of those, Thought I was the only one. I like it well enough:laughing:
Our club was using them for new member orientation for a year or so then sold them off...figured for $125 I couldnt go wrong.

Here's the only two .22lr rifles of mine:

One is a bone stock 10/22 that I paid $89 for a loooong time ago, brand new, with a 4x (IIRC) POS Tasco scope that has since been discarded in favor of an air rifle scope. I don't use the 10/22 very often.

Other is my dedicated .22lr AR SBR with a POS chicom scope that, too, has been discarded (got a Sig MSR red dot now). The dedicated AR has broken the bolt slide, TWICE, after more than 16000 rnds, Just getting broken in.:)) CMMG replaced for free both times, last time with a SS one. Fun gun...

I think I bring this up in every .22 thread. Grew up blasting everything on the farm with my dad's Winchester 190, he won when he was a kid in high school FFA. I have a real nostalgia for those things. Here's the 290 I over paid for a few years ago to scratch that nostalgic itch. I bought it thinking it was a Deluxe but after I got it I I'm pretty sure it's just a 290. 190 was the base model, 290 had a nice stock, 290 Deluxe had an even nicer stock and gold trigger.

The real party trick of these things, they're a semi auto that'll cycle shorts... usually.

I've got 4x 10/22 variants if you count parts collections.

I bought a bunch of stuff to upgrade a stock 10/22 I had purchased with intent of upgrading; Shaw barrel, BX trigger, deluxe bolt, some Kidd and Volquartsen bobs and bits, and a Magpul stock. I got to thinking about it, and the only thing I was using from the original 10/22 was the receiver. So I just bought a Brownells receiver to build instead. Basically 2x guns for the price of 1 if you think about it. That maths out in the end, right?

I've got an "art" 10/22, being a life long Arkansas Razorback fan, I HAD to have one of these. Never fired this one.

I don't have an updated photo of this one, but it's currently got a Benjamin Appendage trigger and a folding stock with a shoulder the thing that goes up. :flipoff2:

It's just silly fun.

I've got a winchester 9422 that'll run cb shorts without any issues. But always need another one:laughing:

And off to gun broker now:laughing:

They made them from the late '60s until 1980, they stopped stamping .22 short on the barrel in the early-mid '70s. Quick way to cull by photos, the later models have a flat spot on either side of the rear sight that has red inlaid script "Winchester," none of those are intended to shoot shorts.

Sears sold a 190 clone under their Ted Williams line too. Google says it was a model T-3.

.22 LR rifles I have:

Ranger for Sears, single shot bolt rifle. Got it when I was 7 or 8 years old. My Dad got it from his Dad, who bought it with paper route money. No serial number so it must be pre 1900. Shoots shorts and LR.

Two, 10-22's. Bought the first one with a cracked stock at a horse auction in the 70's for $50. Repaired the stock, shot the shit out of it. Still works great. Second 10-22 is a stainless take down inherited from my Dad. I don't think it's ever been fired.

AR7 survival rifle, also inherited from Dad. He bought it for river trips.

I'm currently looking for a decent scoped bolt rifle in .22LR. Looking at the Ruger's because they make a good rifle, and they use 10-22 mags.

Look for a Savage/Stevens 87a...
Semi thatll run shorts and can lock bolt for single shot...thread and have fun!
Speaking of 87a.....

The only handme down gun i have from any of my patents/grands, springfield 87a semi.

And my ruger 10/22. Ive been wanting the magpul hunterx stock and i had ordered it, was waiting for it to show up before i posted and i was on my step when i got home this morning.

Same on the dragonov stock 10/22 i just posted.
I bouggt barrel, stock, small bits and had the scope. The only reason i didnt just buy the val reciever was after the fees it was $25 more than just buying a base model ruger.
