Almost wonder if he's just giving her the noose and letting her decide whether to hang herself with it or not.

If she stays she's just going to dig the hole she's in further and even if she somehow wins she'd lose her ass on appeal.

I'm looking for the angle here.

If anything, it gives a good grounds for appeal for any of the defendants that loose.

Let's the judge keep his electorate from being pissed at him right before the election while also not really changing how the trial is probably going to go. Really puts all the pressure and optics back on her vs himself.

Because the only thing that really matters at this point is the election in November. There's now virtually no chance of keeping Trump off the ballot in November. If he wins he's in position to make these cases irrelevant. If he loses we're pretty much all fucked regardless.
 
Does anybody really think they are going to let Trump back into the White House? If they can't prosecute him, they will cheat. If they can't cheat enough to win, he will get suicided. They will come after anyone who disagrees or protests one at a time. They don't even care if everyone knows. This is all just theater to keep the rest of us in line.

BREAKING: Judge Rules in Fani Willis Disqualification Case, Uproar Begins​

Judge Scott McAfee has delivered his ruling on whether to disqualify Fani Willis from her own prosecution of Donald Trump in Fulton County, GA. According to the judge, Willis will be able to remain on the case but with a catch: For the troubled district attorney to stay in her position, she must fire Nathan Wade.


Wade is the prosecutor she had an affair with and hired above market rate. He and Willis infamously took lavish vacations together, which he put on his business credit card. No proof was ever produced that reimbursements were made.


The uproar over what some are calling a "cowardly decision" has already begun, though it is a blow to Willis that things even got this far.



Despite some proclamations by hopeful people on the right, the idea that these proceedings would lead to the case being dismissed was never realistic. That wasn't an outcome on the table, and had Willis been removed, the case would have continued. Her staying as the face of the prosecution after taking this blow is probably the best-case scenario for the Trump defense. Had Willis been booted, it would have been embarrassing for her, but it would have possibly allowed someone more qualified to take over.


Unfortunately for Trump, this case isn't going away. Willis has been dirtied a bit, but eventually, the former president's defense will have to convince a jury these charges are a farce. The big question is whether the judge allows this to go to trial before the election, and if he doesn't, does it matter given it's a state case?

This is uncharted territory, and things could get very chaotic if Trump wins in November but a provably corrupt state prosecutor continues to try to throw him in jail.

I think we're past the point of theater and they know it. I think we're at a point where if they rig it or kill him it's so painfully obvious they ignite a powder keg of all the pissed off, well armed people in this country and they know it.

Wrong. Nobody did shit when businesses were closed over a cold or when the last election was stolen.

Then why are so many rats fleeing the ship? There's a ton of members of Congress and the Biden's admin leaving politics and not seekin re-election.

I figured this after he dismissed some charges a couple days ago. He wouldn’t have done that unless he was going to continue.

If they were afraid of a armed uprising, they wouldn't be pushing so hard. Hopefully, their arrogance will be their downfall.

Getting in what they can while they can, let Trump get in for 4 years, stonewall him as much as possible like the first time he was in office. By the time he gets out people forget about Biden. Gives Dems a few years to get a remotely electable candidate. You've got another census in 2030, Dems will pick up a fucking ton of new seats in Congress with all the illegals. Dems really only need to wait, the older conservative base will die off and they've already indoctrinated two generations into hardcore leftist ideology by then and a populace far more willing to be disarmed than what we have now. See Canada for where will be if they just wait it out.

I have little doubt they'll try. I just don't think it's as feasible as it was when they have COVID as an excuse to keep the opposition out of counting rooms and millions of mail in ballots out there in postal offices running on minimal staff. Trump is also pulling far more votes from hispanic and black communities than he did in 2020. There's a lot of factors making rigging this election more difficult.

I wish this was their plan, but I don’t think they are gonna let him in.
 
Judge didn’t have any choice if he wants to get re elected in njbemi

If he dismissed the case he’s get tossed out by the voters in Fulton county

He’s white and Fulton is majority black and all democrat except for a couple neighborhoods of rich white conservatives


He basically set the stage for trump to appeal if he gets a guilty verdict .

If a judge has to toss out one of the prosecutors , and the defendant gets found guilty , it’s an automatic appeal with a find chance of winning the appeal .
Especially if trumps lawyers can prove that one or both of the prosecutors lied under oath committing perjury, which they both certainally did. .

With our scam of a court system, appeals won't matter, they'll give whatever verdict they want
