What's new

Walking definition of FAFO.....

UPDATE (1/13/23): Jesse Huy has been sentenced to life in prison.

Huy was sentenced to three consecutive life in prison terms with no parole. He was also sentenced to nine years for the three armed criminal action charges, which will be served consecutively.

Yeah. There but for the grace of god...

"I lost my temper." And now he lost everything else.

He knew exactly what he was doing and what the consequences were and decided they were acceptable terms. He even called the cops himself and told them what went down and that he needed to be picked up at the house and then waited for them.

He thought what he did was worth it and can spend the rest of his life in jail in peace knowing Ron isn't going to enter his house unannounced and sit in his chair ever again.

Wife had back surgery. Estranged MIL and FIL showed up in their RV to stay with him and help her recover. They "disrespected" him and invaded his space. He gave all three 2 in the head at the dinner table, then called the cops.
When asked if he'd take it back, he said "Well, yeah, I guess I would, but I wish they hadn't pushed me."

No audio on the work PC and my phone shit the bed completely earlier today, gotta go pick up a new one later.

Cliffs: Jesse wasn't amused when his wife decided that her mother and step father were coming to live with them after the wife's back surgery and he expressed his problem with that. He was ignored and then took care of all 3 of his problems at once.

I can respect people like that, as someone said, but by the grace of god or whoever go I.

Was he really psyco or was he pushed over the edge? There is a big difference between the two...
Something's not right in his head. Only took him a week of passive aggressive shunning of his in-laws in the house before he decided to shoot them.

I think he knows it too because he gave the investigator some very clear warnings about himself not being entirely in control of his actions in the interview. Kind of reminds me of the stories of extremely successful athletes with lots of concussions under their belt feeling like they were going to commit suicide even though they didn't want to. I wonder if they could scan his brain if anything would show up for that dude.

I kinda wonder if she was angling for him flip out with witnesses as the lead in to a divorce in a way that was more favorable to her and wound up getting more than she bargained for. There's zero chance it went straight from conversation to shots fired. There had to have been yelling and other intermediate steps.

A week on top or lord knows what over the prior years.

From the interview it sounds like they pulled it once on him when he first got married 6 years ago or so. It sounded like the rest of the time they all avoided each other. What's gnarly is he figured he'd just shoot his wife too, since she didn't' ask them to leave.

My mom and her husband randomly showing up to live with me might trigger a similar response.

Exactly. In the interview he tells the detective that he told his wife a long time ago that he wanted no part of them in his life so she was fully aware of the potential problem her inviting them to stay there could cause.
