Wagoneer Fuel Pick Up

Looking for some options to prevent bad fuel pick up in the tank on angles. I’m brain farting on what the fabric you can lay in the tank is. I’m not sure I can do a sump with how low the tank already is. Jeep is carb’d with electric pusher. But the tank is a coffin to tank so long and skinny.

You might be able to make a small fuel tank for the pusher pump to feed to and have the mechanical pump draw off the bottom of that. 1/2 a gallon sized would do it.
