What age/model range of cars are you looking for fenders for?Nawp.
The wagon in the pics. I want to finish the fender wells. I also need a grille. What age/model range of cars are you looking for fenders for?
I'll try to head down there sometime this week or next.
Yeah I see the cuts. But what's my year range for potential donors? I assume there's a comparable sedan that would be fine too.The wagon in the pics. I want to finish the fender wells. I also need a grille.

Back to the part that Grendel doesn't care about until it mattersThank you.
Will 900 series have close enough body lines to work in a pinch? I'm just going to cut out the wheel arch like it's a patch panel either way.
Edit: never mind, styling line is missing from the 9xx.
Eh, if I have to, can make them.Back to the part that Grendel doesn't care about until it matters
That fender is used on post facelift 740s (1990+) and all 940s.
It is also used on post facelift 760s (1988-1990) and early 960s (1992-1994).
The fenders are the same on both sedans and wagons.
Early 740s (pre-1990), early 760s (pre-1988) and late 960s (1995+ 960, S90 or V90) are all different and will not mix.
The 780 (2 door coupe) had couple years that looked similar, but the fenders on those are different, so that part of the panel may not match.

I think he was thinking mostly parts prices. That was a cool build, glad to see it made it into good hands. I was surprised to see how cheap he listed it.
Will you be taking it to the next Deathwish Mudbunny adventure?
I want some of this action. I’m on team GrendelWe taking bets on which one of the many projects you have going doesn't get finished first?
I think for this to be real, we have to list the projects, in work order:I want some of this action. I’m on team Grendel
You bought the Blazer?!?!?!I want some of this action. I’m on team Grendel
I wish Only in spirit. You bought the Blazer?!?!?!
Nice!May order one of these: LS364/450HP - Gen III 6.0L 24x Long Block - ETA MID JULY !!
Already has a 4L80E and LQ4 in it... so would drive all that.Nice!
What tranny is going to be used?
Don't know. Going 4.8L as they're boost animals and cheap... most say they take boost better than any other gen3 engine.Dumb questions only from me: where do you end up, money-wise, running a 4.8L vs a similarly configured 5.3?
Almost no one wants 4.8s. Most can be bought for $2-400, all the rest supporting parts are the same as a 5.3Dumb questions only from me: where do you end up, money-wise, running a 4.8L vs a similarly configured 5.3?
The consensus on sloppy mechanics was that junkyard turbos aren’t worth the time when VSRacing turbos are $750.I also found this.
That's nice, I don't care - I mean, does it look like I do cookie cutter stuff? It's also not a JY turbo. I pulled it from a good running engine when I upgraded. The consensus on sloppy mechanics was that junkyard turbos aren’t worth the time when VSRacing turbos are $750.
