Anyone use this streaming service?
We have over the years used it and kept using it mostly because it came installed on the TV we bought 15 years ago. We have purchased and own like 50 movies on there.
Never had a problem.
Recently there was a $21 charge for a movie that was rented, BUT NOT VIEWED, and it came with a subscription to parmount + or something.
Anyway, we did not make this purchase, we were not even home. Nor is it anything we would normally watch. The Killing, I think it was called.
Went through my viewing list, it was never viewed.
Went through my device list, no strange devices.
Contacted vudu and they asked for a bunch of info in order to process the refund.
I completed all the required information.
Then nothing for over a week so I follow up today.
Now today they say, sorry no refunds on expired or viewed content. Exipres 30 days after purchase, or 48 hours after viewing.
It has not been 30 days, or viewed so the 48 hours do not apply.
I am filing dispute with credit card on file with them. But wondering how this happened, if they did it on purpose?
15 years and never a problem till now? But of course they are owned by Fandango now.
Not sure if it is safe to ever log in again, or what.
