Posted in the "show me" thread but I might as well put up a thread of my own.

I bought a 1989 Norwegian built bus on a Volvo chassis. It's got a 340hp mid engine, 7spd gearbox and was just a regular tourist coach full of seats hauling people when i bought it. I chose an older bus as it's cheaper to own when 30+ years old.

Had to keep 10 seats and I wanted room for my rig in the rear. Other than that I wanted a decent sized shower, kitchen, dining tables and firm beds for 6 people.

Some pics from this winters build

Today I finally got the rear doors done and the current rig test fitted inside.
My next rig will be built strictly within the limits of what I can fit in the bus
It's gonna get 40"s and portals, that's all I know yet.

That's the coolest fuckin thing ever. It looks like you have 20+ feet in front of the truck for living quarters too.

About 27 feet living space all in all :smokin:

I've been really looking forward to this, so thank you very much for posting it. Awesome project. Keep it up!

I've called that number on the side a couple times for a tour of Norway in their single-family rig hauler, and they keep swearing they don't have that. Assholes.

:flipoff2:

Fawkin' righteous, man. I'm quite envious of what you've got going here. Digging the various bus builds on PBB and IBB. I can't wait to see this pull up to some trailheads.

Hauled the old girl to a few races this year. She's still not quite finished - doubt she'll ever be.
Here are a few more current pics:
