Vehicle prices that make you say WTF?

20-25 years ago, back when I was ruining early Broncos doing what we do, I had this gut feeling that I needed to stock up on them. Y2K, rust free-ish EB's were going for $1-2k. I should have worked (more) overtime and started shoving them in dad's barn. :frown:
We laughed hard at my buddy who paid $1700 for one that didn't shift good. 72, V8 etc. Yeah, should have bought some....

I bought a 69 non original half cab back in 2006 for 3700. 351w, 44 front and a bed full of parts. Sold it for 3000 with a short in the wiring. NEVER should have sold it.

Local shitbag dealership
What dealership? Asking for a friend that may have too much time on their hands. You know, for tire kicking purposes.

ETA:
Found it. Wasn't which Larson dealership it was.

Looks like Larson Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram in Puyallup. That "Pulse" for 399 on the price is a blinking 3rd brake light by the way, and it appears to be on damn near everything they have for sale.

Yeah, found it. It has 130 easy miles on it. Wasn't sure which dealership it was.

I see a few broncos at auction every week, 6+ at every dealer. There's definitely no market adjustment. The novelty is worn off.
I only looked because I noticed the almost the whole front line at the Ford dealer near the shop is Broncos right now.. Looks like they've adjusted it since I looked the other day, a few are "only" 5k over sticker now but the cheapest one on the lot is 60k for a 2 door 2.3/automatic

I saw a used 2dr base 4 cyl, manual for 55k. It did have the Sasquatch package. :shaking:

now it makes sense.
I've seen in florida that like 1/3rd the cars have stobing brake lights.
Is it just so dealers can pad invoices for some bullshit $5 chinese light box?
Just what I want, some dealer detail monkey hacking up the OEM harness so I can get charged 200% markups on useless shit.

edit:
holy shit it is. They don't even list prices so people can't lookup how bad they're getting fucked.

They are $11 on eBay.

At a $300 upcharge, that's a 2,600% markup.

I try to joke about all this shit, but its really not funny. "Just two weeks, to flatten the curve."

Here we are, 3 yrs later, people still getting sick like people do, and my dollar is worth 40-50% of what it was in 2/2020 and people hate each other more than ever. Fuck you Trump, fuck you biden, fuck you fowchi, fuck all of you federal gov asshats:flipoff:. This was all 100% avoidable

Anyone want to buy my 7.3? DLBMIKWIG:flipoff2:

They are the most annoying thing ever in stop and go traffic, especially at night! :flipoff: Some European cars are set up to flash on hard braking, which is smart. This however is just garbage sold under the guise of "safety" since it flashes every single time the brake pedal is hit.:mad3:

Have brake force lighting in all my fancy European shit. It is smart. I expect every dumb American doesn't know what fishing brake lights means and will rear end me anyway.

Rear fog lamps really confuse people. Fun for tailgaters.

Just to aggravate some folks...2023 Rivian RS1 SUV. Compliments of Kelly Bluebook but something Im not going to replace my 2016 4runner with. :dustin:

" ... 2023 Rivian R1S Pricing

The 2023 Rivian R1S starts at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $78,000. That gets you the Dual-Motor model. A larger battery pack for a 340-mile range costs $6,000.
