Pulled some wheels out of the dead row and put them on the rear of the service truck. They are too big will need to use a 17-18” rim. These only have 4” between top of tire and body. It needs to get lowered 4” or so.

That's a little far away. I think I'm gonna cut the centers out of some old steelies and weld a bent rod in as the lip. I should be able to score some 16.5s pretty cheaply because 16.5. That would let me run skid steer tires.

Was supposed to come in Tuesday to learn how the contractors replace the big rubber on the knees so we can do it and save $8k each time it needs to be done. BUT Monday night one of the boats sprung a leak in some piping. Had to pull it out, make a fixture and replace almost the whole thing.

How much soap are you mixing? I use the same stuff, 2oz mixed into warm water should make so much foam that the car is completely covered.
I used 1 oz.
I'll probably try more next time, but honestly this was fine for a wash/rinse.
I also didn't really fuck with the mixture knob on the top too much.

Just got a free 98 Exploder, sounds like the transmission is bad from what the lady my wife works with who had to get it out of where it's been sitting for over a year said. Figures we get snow today. I guess I'll bring it home and try and start it and go from there. It's got a Pioneer DoubleDin Head unit so I'll get that out at the very least. Back window fell off and is sitting in the back, radiator cap was off, Batteries stone dead, has a step that is completely rusted apart but if it'll drive that's all easy. Not counting on that though. Next best option is give it to a friend after I pull the stereo.
Got it home, it starts with jumper cables, runs ok, put a gallon of antifreeze in and it had heat, trans fluid wasn't real low and didn't smell burnt, reverse slips, D slips, first engages solidly and moves it. What to do now? I'm thinking put it on CL for 400 OBO and see what happens. Interestingly, it only has a front plate and its HOK 486.

v6 had the choice of a 4r44 or a 5r55 depending on if it were a 5spd or a 4spd

My plan is two 20' connexes 10' apart with a roof joining them for added tractor implement storage.
I will probably outgrow all of these before too long.
