  • Gun companies claimed suit is barred by a 2005 U.S. law
  • U.S. weapons linked to many homicides in Mexico
  • Lower court ruled Mexico's lawsuit could proceed
WASHINGTON, Oct 4 (Reuters) - The U.S. Supreme Court agreed on Friday to hear a bid by U.S. gun maker Smith & Wesson (SWBI.O), opens new tab and firearms wholesaler Interstate Arms to throw out Mexico's lawsuit accusing them of aiding the illegal trafficking of firearms to Mexican drug cartels.
The justices took up an appeal by the two companies of a lower court's refusal to dismiss Mexico's suit, which was filed in federal court in Boston in 2021, under a 2005 U.S. law that broadly shields gun companies from liability for crimes committed with their products.

why don't they sue the bullet manufacturers?
guns are the part that is killing, it is the bullet hitting you in the noggin
(beings we are going full retard)

also:
this story is to detour you from a bigger story happening else ware

we're going to see if Comey Bitchet is who I think she is or who I hope she is.

i wonder how much sympathy she's going to have for Mexico

Simple question you all have missed in your haste to hate post and lash out :lmao:

Did Smith and Wesson break any laws in their transactions that justify punitive legal action ?
