Ordered two 100 round cans of belted 50 BMG from SGAmmo. I was supposed to recieve them the 18th as they arrived at my local UPS hub that morning, This morning the 20th, I get a notification that it is being held at the UPS hub for two weeks untl April the 3rd. After trying several phrases with the UPS virtual assistant, I get a message saying my package is being held for customs clearance. It is shipping from Oklahoma to Indiana. WTF.

out of curiosity, did it actualy originate in oklahoma?
thats where SGammo is. i doubt it would be legal for him as an FFL to drop ship the package from an international origin.

All I got was a notice it was out for delivery. Lol. I have had this happen before with FedEx where a bunch of prodding starts happing from the seller and all of a sudden it just shows up.

What the point of ordering on belt if you have to de link? Is it cheaper that way or is that just the way the stuff comes?
Being it is military surplus it is cheaper that way. If I buy it like that, I can get it for $3 a round. I have found some Israeli stuff that comes out to $3.30 a round that is separate in 10 packs in a tin.
It's also very therapeutic to delink 50 BMG

I've always considered that the proper time to SLOWLY sharpen big knifes/bayonets at a brightly lit kitchen table while asking them what their intentions are... Delinking never would have crossed my mind, Who knew???
I have now recieved 3 more 150 count 50 BMG loose in tins and got them within a few days. Supposed to get another 150 count tin tomorrow. As someone has suggested, I wonder if it has something to do with ammo being belted. Getting my inventory up before the election!

1k rounds will last a while unless you're belt fed.
I'm with you, I'm starting to buy more now again too. Wish I'd have gotten divorced 10 years ago, I'd have a real stockpile.
