You funny man in a pathetic sort of way he didn't say he wouldn't do the debate he wouldn't do a "Virtual" debate. The debates are foolish anyway, do you know anyone who is truely undecided who would be swayed one way or the other. Take yourself are you going to be swayed? I doubt it you have TDS so bad you would vote for Pat Paulson, if he wasn't dead
 
He should do a bunch of ads showing a debate where Biden answers are true.

Too many ways for Biden to be helped in a virtual debate. Plus the mute button. If I were him I wouldn't do it either.

The Pundits are just going to claim his talking points are lies anyway. Be better to have photo ops of energized fans at a Rally at this point.
 
Well...if its anything like the last one and that bullshit last night, they shouldn't even call it a debate. That is not debating.

At least one "virtual" debate has been held before with JFK and Nixon, so the "this isn't how they're done" fact isn't really super fact-y

What this smells like is someone is afraid that the prez is going to have some lingering symptoms and look weak, so they're preemptively cancelling the whole thing and blaming it on the opponent. The only person cancelling this is trump, the biden camp wanted it moved online because the president is supposed to be quarantined and they don't want to catch this bug either.

The DNC is struggling to find a way to avoid the shit-show that went down last time. Biden clearly lost his cool, and wasn't up to the task of shouting over the Orange man. This is also a ploy to upset Trump, so yeah his team is spinning it. If Biden doesn't have the WuTang now after being shouted at by Trump in the last one, it's not likely he'll get it in a future in-person debate, especially if they use the terrariums like they did in the Veep debate, (I only watched a few minutes of it).

AND I think this is the right move. He will do a real. live in person debate, but not a virtual. I agree with this.

Ok I haven't kept up has anyone pointed out that in a virtual that either canidate could be reading from a prompter for their answers? Something Slow Joe has already been accused/caught doing
