Seattle Police filled Cal Anderson Wednesday night surrounding the Seattle Public Utilities pumphouse on the west side of the area where a suspect was reportedly holed up inside the fenced-off facility after a medical response in the park transitioned to a crime scene.

Seattle Fire was called to the park around 8 PM and a female was reported undergoing CPR as police were called to the scene. SPD summoned homicide detectives to the scene.

SFD reports its crews performed life saving efforts for an approximately 30-year-old woman who was in critical condition. SPD says the victim has died and that police are conducting an investigation. The death is considered suspicious but SPD could not yet provide further information. The woman was found near the SPU pumphouse.

UPDATE 10:25 PM: SPD says the situation is a homicide investigation and there is a barricade standoff with the suspect underway in the park.

UPDATE 9/17/2020 6:30 AM: SPD reports that the suspect has been found dead inside the building he was barricaded in:

SWAT officers used a variety of tools and techniques to get the man to surrender peacefully. He refused to come out of the building. At approximately 12:30 AM, SWAT entered the building and located the man unresponsive inside at the bottom of a 10 foot tank, which contained approximately 50 gallons of 12 percent bleach solution. The man was declared deceased at the scene.

Yeah, well, no. He's a victim of a society that throws people away and gets them hooked on drugs, drugs which are used by hostile foreign powers to infect the United States.

That is a US citizen who could have been doing something productive like making Alexa devices or shitposting on the internet like me. Instead he had a wasted life on the streets and died in a vat of bleach.

And yes I know more about junkies than you do unless you were one. I have never been a junkie, but I've been on the streets and lived with them, and I was married to someone who turned out to be a junky (which makes a lot of her behavior completely make sense now that i look back).

So no one hates Junkies more than I do, but the fact is if we could enforce the border and the laws properly, he would not have had that life.

Some people are destined to be great and others are destined to be shit. Who is to say he'd have amounted to anything without they drugs? I know too many people that are just trash without the chemical addiction excuse.
 
Looks like a self-solving problem. The only person I feel bad for is the guy who has to fish the undissolved remains out of the tank. He shouldn't be subjected to that.

When I visited a friend in Zurich in 2010, they were doing this for junkies downtown. Basically administering heroin injections in a sterile setting by government workers. My buddy said crime dropped dramatically and he didn't see many junkies around after a while.

Many opioids were produced in the US but that is easily controllable via legislative action. One of the plants was in RI. J&J just got a half-billion judgement against them, Mallinckrodt (had to copy and paste) is declaring bankruptcy, etc.

Heroin, X-tenyl, Coke, Meth and meth pre-cursors are primarily from overseas or sourced overseas. Which has finally made it to the attention of the Retards (average US citizen) because COVID exposed that the US is almost wholly dependent on Chinese and Indian drug manufacturing.

All we'd need to do is sell it otc, premium quality, mass quantities, at low prices. Meth as well. Sit back and watch crime rates plummet, and a decade later see lowest narcotics abuse ever in the history of the US. "Come over here little one, and let papaw tell you a story about back when we used to have junkies..."

Those drug provision experiments are difficult to refute.

It really does cost less to have a Doctor injecting heroin 2x a day, giving them a free apartment, and enough money for a hobby.

It reduces the rates of catastrophic illnesses, and no matter how much the retards here want it to be so, America is going to provide emergency health care for people od'ing in the streets. It's called Advanced Civilization.

Basically if they have a good source of drugs, they don't go anywhere or get up to shenanigans because it will interrupt the flow of the drug. And that is the most important thing for a junkie. So they sit in their apartment and play with water colors, then go downstairs to get their injection in the morning and evening.

It's cheaper than an Amber Lamps every two weeks and housing them in a pen with armed guards. They don't get catastrophic infections which require the ER and IV anti-biotics. They get a decent diet so they may be junkies, but they don't have the Beetus which ends up costing perhaps $1 million per Junkie.
 
Some people are just destined to fail. I had a friend like that. No matter what Max tried he couldn’t make it work. Great easy gravy job making close to 90 a year and he was alway broke. Terrible with money and women. Finally found the wrong woman and she got him hooked on bad drugs that transitioned to H and it was just about a year before he died.

Some people walk through fire unburned and it baffles the mind. Some people look at a fire and they burst into flames.
Blaming society for abandoning him is abdicating him of the fact that he is responsible for himself. No one else is responsible for you except you. Putting the blame on society is furthering the misconception that you are not responsible for yourself and the state will take care of you.

Under my plan as POTUS we will have 10' tanks of 12% bleach on every corner. Hopefully more "people" will hop in to take a bath. :flipoff2:
 
Liberal eutopias have a serious life cycle issue. Once this cycle collapses the capitalist right leaning phoenix that rises will be great for another 100 years before it gets fat and happy allowing the liberals to cycle back in yet again and start over.

Sorry, junkies gonna junk. He would have found huffing gasoline if it hadn't been opioids. How they clamped down on pills that sent them into street heroin sucks but I've known several junkies in my day and they always go back to it. It is not just untreatable "back pain" that leads them back.

Some people cannot help wanting to alter their brain. Humans have been doing it since cave man days. We all do it in some way, beer, adrenaline sports or sex. Some lead to shorter lifespans and that is OK.

I'm fine with ACPs plan on giving access to all they need so they don't steal or hurt others to get it.

i dunno....detroit took 50 years to fully bottom out and a solid decade or two of clawing back and it is hardly a phoenix even today.
