Toyota transmission brace.

New question specific to 2005 4runners..

trying to find the name of this brace...It goes from the frame to the transmission crossmember. I’m looking for those who have pulled it off to mount skid plates/etc, and if they had any issues.

Is it common to pull it off?

This probably sounds weird but they call that the Front Suspension Member Bracket LH. GX470's had a similar setup. As well as 120 Series Prado's(non-USDM GX's)
