Have any of you guys added a ATV winch to help lift your rear door on an enclosed trailer?
If so can you post up some pictures and or ideas on the Rigging
Thank you for your time

My toy hauler has springs on the hinge, very little force to raise it.

I'm assuming this is a steel type door with no springs?

In the Jeffersons trailer build skipped link used a winch to raise/lower the door.

Here’s a few pictures and it does have a cable assist and I can lift the door but it’s pretty much all that I want I I will turn 60 this fall and I have worked hard all my life so I’m no weakling but I don’t want to tear up my back and necessarily
Thank you

I don't have any pictures and sold the trailer but I used a small ATV winch mounted to the top center of the opening. A folding trailer tie down can be bolted to the center of the door for a lifting point. Mine worked great with no cable assist.
