I deal with a ton of shitty Allen head bolts that live in water and filth. Couple that with the fact that they are trash quality fasteners And I’m sick of rounding them out. A buddy turned me on to the RBRT’s. MAC is proud of them. Lol. Anything comparable that works as good?

Weld a hex nut on top of it, use socket wrench to remove it.

Hammer the next size torx bit in the them like a real man. :flipoff2:
Pansy. Can't be stuck if it's liquid.

Wera hex tools have been the shit for me, but I'm using them on my bicycle. :flipoff2:

27 years working on CNC's and Wiha's hold up the longest.

Beta t handle allen wrenches can take some abuse too.

Wiha makes good tools, some of 'em even in the USA, which is awesome.

Wera hex-plus means the Krauts figured out why Torx work so well in hex sockets

For the same reason I dig flank drive sockets, I love me some odd-shaped hex bits :grinpimp:

EDIT: I just looked up RBRT --> Rounded Bolt Removal Technology, so it's the same as a flank drive socket or the funky hex's pictured above.

EDIT 2: snip from Mac's website:

Good design

All of the RBRT stuff I have used works very well.

I think I heard Proto is the same thing for cheaper.

Proto is Stanley's industrial stuff from what i have been told. I have a few of their ratchets and allen head sockets. Been beating on them for over a decade without issue. It's good stuff but for the cost i'd look elsewhere.
