Custom built TJ/LJ Rock-buggy for sale located in Madera, CA. Ready to load up and ‘wheel. It's seen less than 100 hours of use or about 12 days spread between 4 trips over the last couple of years which is the reason I’m selling. I don’t use it enough to justify and my family isn’t interested in off-roading.

Chassis: 48” wide, 120” wheel base. 1 ¾”x.120 wall 1026 DOM mostly with some 1 ¼”x.120 wall 1026 DOM used as bracing and 1 ¼”x.095 wall used for the dash. Trans tunnel is ¼” aluminum, expanded stainless steel grating for the floors. Dash is .080” 5052 aluminum.

Engine: ’87 Ford HO 5.0 roller cam with 289/302 Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold. Impco 425 propane mixer, model E regulator. Ford Duraspark 2 ignition, cheap, simple and common at any parts store. Adjustable digital rev-limter. All electronics inside a 50cal ammo can mounted under the dash. Runs great with very few electrical components to possibly go bad and leave you scratching your head. Chrome plated short tube headers with dual 2 ½” exhaust, dual stainless Moroso spiral flow mufflers.

Transmission: TCI street fighter C4 with TCI reverse full manual valve-body. Rated to handle up to 525 HP. Advance Adapters “Shorty” adapter. Hughes 2200 rpm stall converter. Locking dip-stick.

Crawl box: Northwest Fab “EcoBox-i” built with 6 pinion planetary gear set. 2.72:1 ratio

Transfer case: STAK D300 billet aluminum case, JB conversions 4:1 gear set, 32 spline outputs front and rear, twin stick.

Drive lines: 1410 rear. 2 front drive shafts with oil bath carrier bearing. Short front shaft is 1410 both sides. Long front shaft is 1350 CV at carrier bearing, 1410 at axle.

Front axle: Full width ’76 Dodge Kingpin Dana 60 completely re-built. 5.13 gears, Detroit locker, RCV shafts and CV’s. 35 spline chromo drive flanges. Billet springless high steer arms

Rear axle: Full width ’78 GM 14 bolt completely re-built. 5.13 gears, Detroit locker, stock shafts.

Brakes: Dual CNC master cylinders ¾” bore and 7/8” bore, ¾ ton chevy disks all around. Stainless braided AN3 lines with AN fittings through-out.

Suspension: 14” remote reservoir FOA coil-overs in front with 7” of up-travel, ¾” shafts. 16” remote reservoir FOA coil-overs in the rear with 8”+ of up-travel, ¾” shafts. Shaft bump stops all around. Pretty dialed, I’ve swapped springs a few times as well as re-valved all 4 shocks. One re-valve on the fronts, twice on the rears. It’s not an ultra 4 but it will hold its own in the whoops. Nuisance trail rocks are smooth sailing. Double triangulated 4 link front and rear. 2”x1/4” wall 1026 DOM lower links, 1 ¾”x.120 wall 1026 DOM upper links. 1 ¼”x1” hiems all around using mis-alignment spacers and ¾” grd 8 bolts. Limit straps all around.

Tires and wheels: Qty 5 Pro-comp 17x9 steel wheels with weld on bead locks. Interco TSL 42x15x17. One has a cut with plugs, but it holds air and I’m still using it.

Cooling: Summit aluminum radiator, Ford Taurus electric fan in custom aluminum shroud controlled with electric thermostat switch. Derale remote cooler with fan for hydraulic steering wired with thermostat switch. Same setup for the transmission with an additional finned log cooler. All trans lines plumbed with high pressure hydraulic line and field serviceable JIC 37 fittings. All electric fans have master switches to turn them off for water crossings.

Steering: Full hydraulic. 2 ½”x8” surplus center ram, 7075 aluminum tie-rods. ¾” hiems on ram side, 1 ton Chevy TRE on high steer arms. PSC remote reservoir with filter. TC pump modified for higher pressure and flow. 6 CI Orbital valve.

Winch: Warn m8000 with braided synthetic line.

Seats: PRP high back suspension seats. RJS harnesses.

Miscellaneous: Pro-comp stainless 55 watt headlights. 4 Pro-comp stainless 100 watt spotlights up top wired with relays and fuse panel. Rear LED brake/running lights wired with pressure switch. Aluminum tool box behind seats for tools, spares, camping gear, whatever. 48” TJ fiberglass hood and grill. Qty 5-8 gallon propane tanks. 3 aluminum, 2 steel. Uses about 1 tank in a day of wheeling. All vent lines plumbed with roll-over valves. 105 amp alternator (Ford/Lincoln) with external regulator can be used as a welder by disconnecting the plug, putting 12v to the field and jumper cable to the output. Optima blue top marine deep cycle battery.

Trailer: 10,000 lb bumper tow, 26FT deck over, 91" wide, 95 1/2" total width. Electric brakes on both 5,200lb axles with emergency break away setup. All lights are LED. Rear 16ft is planked, front 10ft has cross tubes but no planks. Was going to build a camper for the front section or put a truck camper up there.

ROCKBUGGY-$45,000

ROCKBUGGY AND TRAILER-$55,000

Not selling the trailer separate unless the buggy sells separately first.
If you're serious, I can provide specific pics and/or possibly some wheelin vids.
