I am like a buffet to those fuckers.

I dumped some dirt down in the woods by my mailbox last week and today. Both times I come back with a tick digging into my left thigh. My left pant leg has a hole by the knee so they are jumping aboard through that.

I got a tick once about 8 yrs ago and never before or after till these past two weeks when two start sucking the same area of my leg.

Anyone else dealing with them?

I always seem to feel them crawling on me before they bite on
probably 10 or 20 last year

I did not feel a thing both times till I pulled em out then it got a little itchy.

A tick bite itches the hell out of me. Seed ticks love me for some reason. I take a bath in deep woods before I head into the woods.

I live in the desert so the closest tick is forty miles away. :flipoff2:

I've had literally hundreds maybe even north of 1K tick bites if you count all the times I've gotten into seed ticks.

I never worried too much, then my luck ran out. Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever kicked my ass, only time I've been sick enough to really scare folks.

I've got a good friend and coworker that developed the meat allergy from a tick bite.

I soak myself down with DEET anytime I'm outside now.

Any time I venture outside. Constant thing I deal with.

I thought seed ticks didn't bite
something about like mosquitoes where they only bite when they're procreating and the seed ticks are too young yet to do such adult activities

I listened to a show on how Lyme disease and how it spread is directly related to deer population wildlife management. I can’t remember what show it was though. Maybe Joe Rogan.

Mix up some permethrin solution and spray your shoes.

I can assure you they do. I got into dozens-hundred+ of them at a time at least once a summer as a kid.

I use Sawyer’s on my hunting clothes. Kills them instantly. We have so many ticks it’s not funny.

Random google photo of seed tick bites.

Normal part of life. Wait until they turn gray and get raisin sized, then burn 'em off with a cigar. My well witching buddy says they won't give you disease if you let them get a belly full before you pick em.

Already pulled a few off for the season. I hate those things.

I don’t get them on me but the dogs have been magnets. Our Aussie had one crawling down her about the other day after being out in the yard for 15 minutes.

so what you're saying is get the neighbor to shoot the fuckin idiots that are always in my side yard

I'm way too lazy to pay the gov't enough that they won't shoot me for shooting them.

Normal part of life. I haven't seen any yet this year, but it was 30 degrees the past two nights. I use deep woods off.

I rarely got any on me years ago playing in the woods and grass all day. Now I spend a few minutes near some brush and get a few on me. Might be the area/woods type here at my house they like along with the high deer pop. I got teh limes about 10-15 years ago.

I get about 10-15 bites a year. Rarely feel the fuckers even bite me. First tick bite I got gave me the Lyme and he backed out on his own... Deep woods off around all openings. Socks and pants cuffs, spray the fuck out of my boots, waist line, shirt cuffs, neck, and spray my hat. I have found that if you unscrew them
Quickly they dont spit up in you. Has to be quick, like grab them and unscrew them fast. They come right out, have not separated one yet. I pay $50 to have them all tested to know if I need to worry about anything. Mainly deer tick but we have wood ticks and one other kind. Fuck ticks and everything about them. :mad3::flipoff::mad3:

I’ve never heard of “seed ticks“ before 😟

I have pulled a few ticks off me over the years, right after I felt it bite me 😡

For some reason, I have become the official tick removal specialist on the property. I finally broke down and got the little tool to grab the little fuckers
