Thoughts and prayers for my MIL appreciated

My wife got a call this morning from her dad that her mom collapsed this morning and had to be rushed to the hospital. She regained consciousness and overall seemed to be fine but they kept her for observation to run more tests and that's when they found that she has something going on with her gallbladder, she has internal bleeding somewhere, and she's in acute renal failure. My FIL is a doctor himself and he didn't sugarcoat it for my wife, long story short we don't know exactly what's going on right now and it very well may be treatable but it doesn't look good. :(

I know a lot of people have contentious relationships with their in-laws but not me. This lady is pure gold.

She's also battling a sepsis issue but it's responding well to the antibiotic IV. All of this is kind of pointing to a gallbladder infection possibly being the root cause. They're doing more testing today, but things look better today than they did yesterday. Fingers crossed. We're planning to head that way tomorrow afternoon.

ironically my daughter spent last weekend in the hospital getting IV meds to fight sepsis that was brought on by a kidney infection.
