This is the new 512 GB m.2 SSD I am buying.

Uhh, the Samsung EVO Plus is only $9 more at the same store.

They were on sale the whole damn month of December. I put one of the EVO Plus NVMe in my step mom's new laptop for $53, and put a 500 GB Samsung EVO 2.5" SATA SSD in my in-law's desktop for $48.

Evo Pro is pricey for what it is...Evo Plus is the better bang/buck.

None the less, Samsung Evo is the only way to go.

I agree with both of this.

I spent the extra $40 for 1tb. I keep my junk forever, so in the next 4-5 years I won't miss those $20s, but I will miss the extra 500gb if I don't have it.

Seagate Firecuda 520 500GB is on deck for Shell Shocker pricing at Newegg tomorrow (1/7/21) might be worth snagging one if it's cheap enough. I've got some great deals thanks to Shell Shocker in the past.

I think I missed a few things.... So this is replacing or running in conjunction with a system hard drive?

It will be alongside other m.2 and conventional drives.

Wait...how can you afford an SSD? I thought you didn't even have $3 to cover rent...
