the un-official California idiocy uber thread

Or "maybe" he looks shit up before forming and shitting out an opinion on it :homer:

Uh, post #204. He posted J1492. I found that, read it, and posted it. What da fuque are you talking about ? As I posted I didn't find anything in there about a specific test cycle or a mode or anything. It would take a deeper dive into it, or one may have some actual knowledge the subject.

I dont have an opinion and I dont care. Just looking for answers to interesting issues. No one here has any clue what a tism is so, posting that is just more clutter or I dont know what the fuck to call it.

"he looks shit up before forming and shitting out an opinion on it :homer:"

Do you read and comprehend as well as you fire shit out of your ass ? :homer: Maybe you can redeem yourself and find the EPA SAE test text that "clearly states the test is to be conducted in a mode that doesn't persist through an ignition power cycle, ie the default mode." That would be constructive.

I follow this site and it's my best source for some info. This is becoming one of them. Do you have anything t contribute ?

There is a shit load of California uber idiocy going on all around you. This is not one of them.

I done told you, it was news. Widely reported on every automotive news website, with quotes from the sae paper and quotes from lawyers. It's been talked about on every automotive podcast.

I'm not gonna go googling news articles from a year ago, but you can.

Edit and again the EPA doesn't have shit to do with it and I don't know why you keep bringing it up or looking for relevant papers there.
It's like you don't even read the words
:flipoff2:

The media info I found was from car enthusiasts. Slight bias. :flipoff2: I put far more sack in logic and input from people like you than the noise that clouds any search on anything. To me, the validating thought is that Hyundai would never have brought the car in if it was going to be a problem. I am absolutely certain they have better, more learned, experienced more qualified and yes intelligent legal advice than anyone on here. Serious. :mr-t:Their guys told them it's legal. But surely they were warned. They are Corporate, they are Korean, and they make money. Simple. Also, the car had to be tested to get certified for sale here. And it was, correctly obviously, and it passed. But they had to know it would eventually fuck up. How could they not ?

102 db backfire. Fuck That Shit.

The law lags behind the developments in the field. It always does and most law of this type is a reaction to a problem. Clearly, the laws are made to protect, as I said way back there. Thats all there is to it. That being the case, a law that is easily and instantly circumvented and rendered moot is also ineffective. A really simple oversight, in easier terms, a crappy law. As mentioned in the media, CA has already approved more studies to evaluate noise enforcement. Fuck around and find out

Great job. And feed the loons and tools here.

Let me ask you something. If the N model was a gross polluter in sport mode, how would you address that ? Because it would evade testing by SAE method. Or would you ?

The EPA specifies the test method. They are responsible. The link to the SAE test is in the EPA doc I linked.

The guy was posting updates from lawyers and such on they internets.

We're never going to see what the end results are because Hyundai gave him MSRP on a buy back so they didn't have to deal with the state of California and guy bought a Miata.

I have tried to casually follow the results of Shasta County California terminating their contrct with Dominion Voting machines. That was last year. So here is one update with an expected result -

Last paragraph - "The California Assembly acted with lightning speed to introduce a bill on February 14, 2023 to immediately thwart the Shasta County move to cancel their Dominion contract and, eventually, a vote to enact hand-marked hand-counted paper ballots. This bill is an egregious attempt to usurp control of elections from local jurisdictions and place the power in the hands of the State. According to Kevin Crye’s above-referenced podcast, Gail Pellerin claimed the election machines are accessible, auditable, transparent, and accurate. However, claiming an electronic machine that counts votes is “transparent” while simultaneously hiding the source code is anything but “transparent.”

state will win.
it's exactly what ohio did with those federal election dollars 20 years ago.

I'm convinced Newsome is sacrificing California to give him a platform when he runs for president in 2024.
I agree that he clearly has his sights on the white house.

I don't understand how he thinks poorly managing California will give him a platform to run on for the whole country.

The worse it gets the more he gets to act compassionate. That is what gets the suburban white woman to vote, that and being 30-40 years younger than the competition and thus more handsome by default.

Then again I don't know how he gets elected in California in the first place or how he keeps his job in a recall. Just belong to the right political dynasty and get the D by your name. That's good enough for 60%+ of California and 51%+ of the country I guess.

it's the freest state in the union... he said so.

The media will slurp up every drop of his dick nectar and make him look like the greatest candidate in history

If and because the prk disease is so prevalent, and easily spreading across the country as it is......
Obiden doesn't stand achance should the Mafia decide to run screwsome for dictator:shaking:

Nobody knows, that is why the state is so resistant to voter ID , cleaning up voter lists, and in-person voting.:mad3:

Yea cuz we don't have any say in our government unless you are a demacommie:usa:

Yes I do. You're jacking this up just like you do the election interference threads.

Fag :lmao: Havent used that compliment in a long ass time.

Subject line of OP is Idiocy so here I am :flipoff2::flipoff2:

The State went blue, demonstrated blue before electronic voting machines and in the day of paper chad or fill in bubble ballots. Every single metric, every way possible to count and measure voters has and will confirm CA has a registered voting Democrat majority. To argue other wise is epic denial. If I went down the street door to door and took numbers it would bear this out. The state that enacted by popular vote ballot initiative the 3-strikes and marriage = man woman went blue in a single decade. From the Terminator to Gavinator. IMHO one reason the state is resistant to changing the voting system is that the general population doesn't see a problem with it. I am not saying there aren't problems, I am stating the majority of the apathetic voting population doesn't. You may not like that, or agree with it but that doesn't change the facts.

The Democrats have a voting supermajority in the legislature and that is evil for the future of California. That legislature has empowered numerous letter agencies to take the liberties with liberty. And now, it has hatched Young Gavin who is outbound to glory. It will be interesting to see the Shasta County appeal regarding enforcement of the legislature's new law assuming new voting powers from the County.

:lmao: I thought when you were missing a nizzle you put out an APB?

A new alert for missing black women and children in California is receiving backlash as some critics say that it will embolden people to ignore the messages.

The so-called 'Ebony Alert,' signed into law Monday by Governor Gavin Newsom, is a completely separate notification system from the already existing Amber Alert.

Authored by state Senator Steven Bradford, many online have called the new law - which goes into effect on January 1 - a new kind of segregation.

The alert will be used for black people between the ages of 12 and 25 and notifies law enforcement and California Highway Patrol to search for the individual.

Wowza. Where do the mix kids go?
Guess it depends on the mixture ratio.

50% amber + 50% ebony is apparently "Rusty Nail"

 - get the LGBBQWTF folks pissed about not having alert colors for all the (56?) pronouns :flipoff2:
