A lot of you are already gone and I am sure there are things you miss ( most likely foods )

For those of you that will say you that say you don't say you miss anything...You are a fucking liar and fuck you!. Don't bother replying because you are a fucking liar.

We are preparing our calexit plan.

The thing's I will miss the most are Rubicon an Fordyce.

Aside from that it will be the food!

The fresh sea food the American Chinese food, The Messican food. (even though there is way too much of it)

Stopped in and hung out with XRNut a few years back and well....That isn't Mexican food...

It my be made by Mexicans.

But they need to revisit their roots,

but what else.

There is a lot of BS I/we will not miss

But I will miss the trails and a lot of the food.

I've lived in California for 64 years, and I'm one of those who is bailing. Cost of living, taxes, energy costs, and political climate in California has driven us away. Our offer on a brand new gated community home on Lake Oconee in Georgia, was accepted today. Escrow closes 4/2/21.

At one time it was "cool' to say you were from California; and envied by many. Not so much anymore. I guess I miss the "cool" factor.

I am going to miss the Pacific Ocean the most. I was born overlooking the Pacific Ocean and I've never lived more than 10 miles from the ocean. I've lived right on the coast for the past 28 years. At least living on a lake will satisfy my affinity for water....

I'd miss the food as well.

Ca is the breadbasket of the country. I don't give 2 fawks what non-cali people say about this state, some of your fresh foods that you eat daily comes from this soil. The restaurant industry thrives here (masses) and since we're the trend setters... the newest trend in eateries is "raised / farmed local" ... if i were the go out to eat type I'd be in food heaven.

Any time i eat in another state, i recall the foods I'd miss if i left.

F you doctor roc. :flipoff2:

I've never lived in CA but I spent a couple days a week in CA for 5 years driving truck. Nice weather in the winter was probably the only thing I really miss. I can get the same quality food right here at home and there is an in-n-out in scottsdale where I visit once a year.

weather? Con area is nice, reminds me of here :flipoff2:

not impressed with the "fresh" food there other then the seafood. But I got a couple good places for fresh sea food if I want it. Little short on good mexi food but there is a handful of good spots. Nothing like Baja which I have ran into anywhere that has that kind of mexi food.

Similar here. Born and raised on the coast. All but 6 yrs within an hour of the Pacific.

been to Cali a number of times, but never lived there..

I miss going to the Rose Bowl with front row seats, to watch the UT Longhorns with a National Title..

there are many famous pictures, that since we had those seats, its easy to find us.. (especially me, since Im on the large side)

oh yeah, and the weather in San Diego..

The things I missed when away from here...

Good Sourdough

Linguisa ( I was raised by Portagees, killer Linguisa comes out of the east bay)

The weather

Casper’s hot dogs (another Bay Area creation)

Good Chinese and Mexican food

Very fresh produce, and seafood

So many other things I can’t think of right now

Nuking the politics of this place would make it perfect :smokin:

I grew up on the beach in San Diego in the 80's. I miss surfing before and after school, and skateboarding to school (Mission Bay High). I miss hanging out on the boardwalk, smoking pot and partying with big ass bonfires. Life is CA was great then.

I grew up in Del Mar. It was a little beach town then, now I can't afford to live anywhere near there. The family home was about a mile from the beach and 1.5 acres. In the 70's we would walk or ride our bikes down to the beach and the only rule was be home for dinner. I miss all of those things and I live in San Diego. Being dropped off by my parents to surf, surf fish and camp out on the beach at Torrey Pines and Encinitas. Those days are long gone. It was a great place to grow up, my Dad said it was even better when he was growing up in Encinitas in the 40's.. I am moving out of California as soon as I can get the house built. I will miss the ocean, carne asada burritos and Asian food, but COVID killed all the great buffets anyways.

I miss when all the fucking Californians kept their asses in California and didnt need to move to other states and fuck them up.

Believe it or not.

Most of the bullshit in California doesn't necessarily come from Ca.

It's all the fucking people the think that everyone here wants it to be that way...

At the point people realize that, you would understand that not all Californians want this bullshit.

I was born here...But I was raised all over this nation.

The best thing that could happen to Ca is all the fuckings spics and liberals get the fuck out!

They all think we want some utopia until they get here and realize it's all fucked up and no better than where they came from...All the while they are trying to turn into the next thing and fucking everything up...

Faggots, Spics, Kneegrows, and all the like.

All them fuck bags can go back to where the fuck they came from!

Some of us that want to get out aren't looking to change your demographic.

We are just looking for something we knew once upon a time!

Feel free to grow up a bit and look at things from a different perspective once in a while.

If I were to buy the house next door to you, you wouldn't even know where the fuck I came from or what I believe in.

If that’s the case, no need for me to try the In/Out then.

It's not the same, 5 guys isn't great, in n out is decent.

People way over hype in n out. I like it though, it's cheap and fast. Have to get grilled onions though, otherwise it's meh.

We want out. Besides family and friends, I'll miss the shit out of the Sierra's. They're pretty amazing really, not just Rubicon and Fordyce, but the whole damn range. Lassen, Tahoe, Yosemite, ect. Lots of beautiful area. Love swimming in crystal clear creeks, jumping off rocks or finding a rare slab water slide.
