Way out West.
So it looks like DJT is walking away with the POTUS and he's likely to get another 11 from AZ, but in my state anyway there were several other important races and measures to be voted on.

Senator Sinnema has chosen not to run for re-election, I think she was disgusted at the machine as she got elected as a Demo, and changed her status to independent. She wasn't the uber liberal I thought she would be, and for the most part did or at least tried to do what her constituents wanted. Anyway the race to replace her was between Rueben Gallego (D) a Harvard grad, a combat Marine vet, and has experience in DC, vs. Kari Lake that was a newscaster. Sorry power and fame hungry twat, you didn't get my vote.

Prop 133 would have required partisan primaries. Anything to not support partisan politics gets my vote.

Prop 139, the constitutional right to have an abortion. I think it's fucked up that people are so irresponsible to create a life then eliminate it, but that's not going to change any time soon, so I don't believe the .gov has a right to dictate this option. It's a conflicted topic for many. The measure passed.

Prop 314 increased border security. Allows local PoPo to arrest and detain illegals. More enforcement is good, if nothing else it will increase the traffic into California. It passed.

I'll give AZ a solid B+.

How'd your state do.

How'd your state do.
F :(

We're solidly blue and solidly fucked for the foreseeable future. Really not looking forward to our next local elections. It's likely the Dems pick up a majority in the General Assembly again and go full retard, especially with gun laws. They tried to pass basically all of CA's bullshit laws this year and barely couldn't get them through. It's unlikely the governor goes GOP again either.

Bummer.

I'd say VA and CA are the two biggest disappointments of the current century. VA for it's storied history of significant Americans, and CA for squandering the best geology in the nation.

Unfortunately for us it was a concentrated effort. Bloomberg spent billions to flip this state blue and we've been absolutely flooded with out of state people moving here due to the low cost of living. Lots of corporate offices have moved here, lots of NY money invested in growing the area.

Who knows though, maybe the swamp really does get drained and all that NoVA money dries up and that area flips back red when the DC influence is gone. Wishful thinking, but you never know.

Landslide victory for State Constitutional amendment specifically requiring legal residency as a qualification to vote:

Constitutional amendment to provide that only a citizen of the United States who is 18 years of age and otherwise possessing the qualifications for voting shall be entitled to vote at any election in this State.

This even surpassed the Voter ID amendment 2018 results of 55.5% (2.05million votes 'for') which the POS governor vetoed- then his veto was overridden by a supermajority in the house and senate, and then POS gov used the state supreme court to block again, and just a couple weeks ago was finally restored and enacted so this was the first election you showed ID and the poll workers didn't act like vampires being shown a cross. :grinpimp:

POTUS doesn't have the power to drain the real swamp, about all POTUS can do is manage their own cabinet. DJT admits he made some bad choices last time, maybe off the cuff choices I dunno, but if he's got a better team around him this time some significant changes could be in order. Bringing Musk and Paul on board is a good start.

Saw that idiot Mark Robinson lost. How's we do for state Senate and reps?

Other than the Presidential vote ( :flipoff: Liberal transplants) I think CO did ok, a solid C+.

Some of the ones that were important to me:

Prop 127 Would ban all hunting of Mountain Lions, Bobcat and Lynx. It failed :smokin:

Prop 131 Would establish an open primary system (ala Kommiefornia style). It failed. :smokin:

Prop KK Would levy a 6.5% excise tax on firearms and ammunition manufacturing and sales to be imposed on firearms dealers, manufacturers, and ammunition vendors (which will undoubtably be passed on to the customer) and appropriating the revenue to the Firearms and Ammunition Excise Tax Cash Fund to be used to fund crime victim services programs, mental and behavioral health programs for children and veterans, and school security and safety programs.
It passed. :mad3:

yeah Robinson blew it

state senate/ house was just meh- could have been better but not a disaster- the senate supermajority is secured with 0 breathing room, the house supermajority may come down to runoffs.:

to many WA residents are so stupid. Elected a zealot twat to governor, kept the illegally passed capital gains tax, the fucking carbon credit program that makes our gas price $1 more per gallon that Idaho's, and kept the horribly underfunded long term care program, that will turn into a mess because it funds like 11 days of long term care when you need it. They did roll back the inability to build in propane or nat gas powered appliances. This state is so fucked, I cannot wait to depart it.

POTUS doesn't, but don't forget Trump also gained control of the GOP itself. He now controls a significant amount of influence in Congress and the Congress critters are at his mercy come re-election time if they want money and support from the party itself.

Arkansas Issue 1. Expands use of lottery funds for scholarships.

This proposed amendment to Arkansas' constitution would expand the use of state lottery funds to provide scholarships to public and private vocational and technical schools.

Arkansas Issue 2. Requires local voter approval of casinos.

This proposed amendment to Arkansas' constitution would require local voters to approve new casino licenses and would repeal authorization for a casino in Pope County.

We haven't voted blue since Clinton for president. Up until now, lottery funded scholarships could only go to colleges. Got that fixed so the trades can get some financial aid also. People liked having casinos to go to just not in my backyard, so the state could vote to allow a casino to show up anywhere, now it has to be approved locally which is nice. AR is mostly rural people who don't want people from out of town showing up to party in their town and then going back home leaving their crack whores at the casino for them to deal with. Now if yo uwant one, put it in your own back yard. Notice NWA or Little Rock don't have them, but that's who goes to them currently.

I'm not a fan that this passed seeing as AZ already had provisions in place for early term abortions and prop 139 pretty much opened the door for all abortions.

Now that this has passed at least this topic can't be a hot button issue used to draw voters in for future election cycles.

Somewhat unrelated, I just saw that Maricopa county went to Trump, I was NOT expecting that and it was a pleasant surprise!

No wonder Magpulled out of CO.

35% of Zonies are registered Repubs, whereas only 29% are Dems...shit even Indy's outnumber Dems at 30%. I think Hispanics voted for Trump, there is so much building going on here, they were voting with their wallets.

That's what I was thinking as well, they're probably the biggest demographic of swing voters and know how to vote what's best for them.

I voted straight ticket, If not why bother because you're not helping him do what needs to be done agenda wise.

The worst R is always better than the best D. D will always every time vote inline. Regardless of their beliefs.

OP is a pinecone.

I agree though abortion should be outlawed.

As expected King county went pretty much full retard. All blue and of the 4 measures that would have kept money in the constituents hands 3 failed. :homer: I swear to Cthulhu the West side needs to slide into the ocean.

The kill property tax amendment FAILED 63/37

I'm wondering if he'll offer Tulsi some position.
