Just used it to buy new TPMS sensors.. two of mine decided to fail in a week, and the stupid thing doesn’t stop dinging. It comes back every ten minutes or so.
 
did the format for the discount codes change?
I used to get a email right after the purchase, but haven't seen anything for months

I was kind of wondering that myself; because I received that one on May 7th, and then I received another one May 14th. But I hadn't made a purchase for about a month prior to either of them. So it might be something where the more codes you share the more often they send them to you? I'm not sure, but happy to get them and share them when they do come in!

I know what you mean. I don’t get one all the time anymore like I used to.

I at times get one, and others I don’t for months until after I make another purchase.

Magnets are another hit or miss item

Ironically, that is the one item that I really dont want in that box, I'd rather have a discount code

Hey have a question for anyone that has done a return.

I bought four Schraeder TPMS preprogrammed units and had them installed to change from the old style band type inside of a 2008 ford escape rims. They are the 315 band so should work I have been told.
The mechanic who installed could ping them and they showed up but for a 2009 escape. He said he has changed from the band type to the sensor on the valves stem numerous times before.
Long story short the escape won’t recognize them, when doing the learning sequence on the dash with a scan tool on each tire. Or trying to write them into the system manually.

They are installed so I would have to buy another set to install, and then send these back. However I don’t have the original boxes anymore.. would this be a problem for rockauto?

Should I just go somewhere and get them to try to reprogram the schraeder ones and try again?

They require the original undamaged boxes.

Saved a dollar with your code…buying a $20 part. Was $10 in shipping. Sure could probably get local for cheaper but that would require me leaving work early before stores close.

I found this forum via a google search. All the "coupon" websites couldn't produce anything, but then I saw a forum claiming their thread to be the "OFFICIAL" Rockauto discount code thread. I went to the last post in the thread & BAM, the code worked. So I created an account & am now a member. Will contribute when I can, but Rockauto only sends me a code every few months at best.

I needed front & rear brake pads, along with front & rear rotors for my 2015 Forester. Granted it only saved me $5, but $5 is $5. Especially when I just had to drop $210 at the local dealership for their rear hub backing plates while changing the wheel bearings of death. Any of you who own a semi newer Subaru & have done this work will know what I mean.
