Well goddamned here i am again! Bought my first brand new truck last year 2019 Tacoma TRD in Cement. Other than some snow we had I didn't even put it in 4x until last weekend. Some guys from my neighborhood wanted to go do a mild trail and camp by a lake in the Cascades. I was in!

Made it up the Fortune Creek Trail to Gallagher Head Lake with only one small issue, rubbed the bumper on a big rock! Good excuse to get an aftermarket bumper! I've never taken a truck off-road without at least rock sliders and skid plates for anything I halfway cared about. Or it was a wheeler and I could give two shits and half a fuck it it got wadded up.

So now I'm on the hunt for the best value rock sliders, skids and probably bumpers I can find. A solid wench too! Hoping to stick with those mods and a leveling kit with 285s and call it a day....but I could totally see that Marlin long travel IFS, 40s, interior cage and doubler in this things future.

I just bought a '19 SR5 longbed. Loving it. I didn't go TRD package because it'd all get swapped out anyway. First mod was removing the damn 7" tall air damn up front.
