The Grand Tour

also possible that the raft malfunction that was unseen by any of the 50 cameras filming may have been contrived.
Speaking of...I was sure those rafts had 55gal drums under them doing the lifting, but not a one in sight as the van went over.

The plastic bottles 100% were for looks- most of them were above the waterline and barely contained.

I think they have some sort of mandate that requires them to do something good for the host country.
picking up bottles was apparently it this time.

Not looking forward to the ending of these guys working together.

I loved Top Gear for many years. I've had enough and I wish the three of them will find good stuff to do.

Clarkson's Farm was a fantastic show that I enjoyed thoroughly. It also exposed the public to the different levels of government that actively torpedo small farmers (and all other small businesses).

I think all 3 of them are getting tired of it, and frankly some of the bits recently (and throughout the whole show if we're honest) are just dumb. Thats not to say I didn't like The Grand Tour, I do. Those 3 could sit in a pub and talk for hours and I'd be fully invested, I want that, not dumb gimmicks to pad screen time.

Crazy to think it was almost 10 years ago when they "left" Top Gear. At the time (before Clarkson got fired) I think the trio were already in agreement that they'd re up their contracts for another 3 seasons of Top Gear and pass the torch. In reality they've been at it for far longer than planned.

They have also mentioned that on top of running out of exciting places to go the gags had kind of run their course. Cutting a hole in hammonds hood while he sleeps the first few times is funny. Can only run the gag so much though.

South America, Asia or Africa? Looks like deserts and forests. Clarkson is really packing the pounds on, can’t be great for him.

The gags have definitely felt more forced in the last two or three specials, last one the tunnel to no where and the winching down the side of the hill were pointless. I always assumed they filmed extra things and would add them in if nothing went wrong. Seemed like during “peak” tg the gags were organic or the cars/challenges themselves and not inserted.

I'm glad they're doing another one and figure they'll come out of the woodwork at some point and do another one. The drunk pranks were awesome, and the vietnam on scooters was possibly the best of them all. Hammond's Galeon ship strapped to the bike was hilarious. I reallly liked the boat one too.

I just wish someone could do the same here with similar viewership numbers. I think between the brazen and "defiant" Clarkson and being across the pond, a lot of people didn't make the connection that a bunch of government bull shit goes on here as well.

Going to miss the shows, it was a great run and I look for to reruns in the future. Still watch Top Gear every once in a while.

Vietnam on bikes, Botswana and Bolivia are some of the best. Honorable mention for dune buggies, Africa trip to the Nile, Middle East and Cambodia with trucks.

Can't forget the polar special to the arctic circle.

So many good ones. It sucks that no one streams the whole collection that I’m aware of. I used to always put it on when I was doing paperwork just as noise in the background. Would always be one liners that would make me crack up.

Jeremy Clarkson fail!

Sometimes my genius frightens even myself.

Just about everything. Used to see the newer TG on there, but not so much lately. I did see the first one with Matt LeBlanc the other day.

Used to be a site called Final Gear that would put up torrents of every season. Pretty sure I have downloaded them all.

There was an old one on Pluto the other night, Clarkson driving a Mondeo/Contour based Jaguar wagon. He was skiing behind it and mentioned Chipping Norton. I wonder if he's had the farm that long. I ordered some hats and a t-shirt from the farm shop and the package originated in Chipping Norton. Showed up fast, too, I ordered on Sunday and it showed up via DHL on Wednesday.
