The Boys (Amazon Prime)

I have been slowly getting through this one. Not my favorite but it’s a pretty accurate portrayal of how real super hero’s would act.

Me I enjoyed Peacemaker on hbo max a lot more than the boys.

 
I’ve watched a few episodes but haven’t had a chance to get back to it. I enjoy it.
 
haven't watched past 2 yet, not sure I finished 2 really.
I liked it enough for a 11 pm sleep timer show
 
Peacemaker was fucking hilarious. The 1st time we saw the opening credits, my wife and I said "wtf" and started laughing at the same time :laughing:

Absolutely watching. Fully caught up and waiting on the next season. Very funny and good way to pass the time. I dig.

Also watched Peacemaker and laughed my ass off the entire time on that.
 
I enjoy the show a lot. Don’t really appreciate the constant white supremacy push but it does pretty much fit the story.

Peacemaker was a damn good show too.

I have no interest in the whole super hero and back stories and I don’t geek out on any of that junk, but I really enjoy watching these two shows.
 
I made it halfway through season 1. Couldn't do anymore
 
One of the actors said they ran out of fake cum when making the herogasm episode. The comic it's based on is pretty good.
 
probably the only tv show I’ve enjoyed in a long time. peacemaker was pretty good too, only good thing DC has done.

WW1 was really good IMO along with Christian Bale Batman. Everything else is pretty much trash (DC)

I have this thing about watching shit that is over-advertised. I don't know why, but it just turns my interest to a negative number.
 
I was home sick a few weeks ago for 2 days and watched it all at once. It has to be the weirdest show I have ever watched. Kinda like a train wreck you can't look away. :lmao:
 
Watched every bit of it. They got a little far into the political slant in 2 and ramped up in 3, all conservatives are white supremacists, the beta husband that clearly lives on 4chan and Irate conspiracy guy etc. Fuck off with that, but I was invested at that point:laughing:

I think it is a pretty well put together show. Just can't watch it around kids or women. Pretty sure my friend is fucked up. She had a little PTSD trigger watching it with me. :laughing:
 
Fucking love it. Only seen the 1st episode of S3 so far though as the woman likes it (at least pretends to) and has been out of town for the past month.

The actor for Homelander is perfect, I hope he gets some other big roles.
