The turbo 350 is leaking trans fluid from the front while it sits over a few weeks. Plan is to drag it to a buddies with a lift, pull it and fix whatever’s leaking. I’ve never done it, but if I pull it is there anything else worth resealing or what would one expect to be leaking on the front end of it? Mainly so I can have the parts on hand and not drag it out. It’s a 79 2wd truck

Dipstick oring, rear main seal, reseal servo cover, tail housing seal, may do u joints if they need it.

It’s a simple as it gets. Make sure the converter is up inside the bell with barely room for your fingers behind it, making 3 clunks as you rotate it in. 2 hours total.

Can also take a measurement with a straight edge across the bellhousing distance from straight edge to TC bushing snout? before you take the TC off.

Just as double check fail safe lol.

But it's pretty easy to know after the 3 clicks that TC is seated in

Usually front tranny leaks while sitting requires tranny overhaul.

The TC bushing behind the seal may be fucked, causing the TC to wobble and seal to leak. Once trans is out, inspect the bushing.

Lack of proper gap can cause this.
