Texas governor lifts mask mandate

The legislature submitted a bill to neuter his and the cities ability to do shit like this. They better push it through and not let it slide now that he’s given in.
 
good, now the business' can make their own choice as to who they will serve and if they want to be open or closed without added pressure from the state.

i really hope all the people who complain about the mandate ending go ahead and keep their doors locked and start wearing an effective respirator to stay in filtered air
 
My kids school still mandates it, just outside of Austin. Thankfully she is in school and not remote. Remote learning sucks.. do the teachers even look at the online learning tests? She is in 5th grade and will ask to look at tests.. many times there are multiple answers that are correct or none that are not. I tell her to take a photo of it, send an email to her teacher and ask her what she expects. 99% of the time its crickets. Bullshit.

My wife teaches kindergarten. They dedicated 1 teacher to online, while the rest had classrooms. At one point the online teacher had almost 80 students, so the answer is no, they don’t. The canvas software sucks in every way possible. Both for the teacher and student.

that's just the thing, there is no strong evidence or correlation between masks and forced closures and viral spread. it still just doesn't matter. stay inside, take personal protection, etc. but the state level stuff is well shown ineffective at helping and very effective at damaging.
 
I really don't know.. but whats the harm in making people wear one longer.. sure open more businesses etc.. but keep wearing masks and try to keep your distance..

is the governor working on advice from his party or from doctors?? I really don't know

I never wear a mask and I’m around people who never do also and I haven’t caught the hoax virus yer. Unless you watch the news you wouldn’t know this shit is even going around. I work in a very liberal area but luckily us workers out number the cucks and we won:smokin:

I've only not worked for a couple of years, I used to contribute a lot..

I've worked as a machine operator for many years, which was usually very complicated machines..
and I've spent time working in warehouse for many years
data entry for many years, including for the IRS for a few

the list goes on and on since I'm 48 now

just cuz i havent worked lately does NOT mean I haven't put lots of time into the system..
