Can't get in to all that over the top horror shit, especially stuff that's just gore for the sake of gore. Fight or flight kicks in and I'm just annoyed the whole time. Been like that since I was a kid, same thing with haunted houses and shit. Ex used to get mad I wouldn't do haunted houses with her. Sorry, I'm gonna hate it the whole time and there's a very real chance I end up hitting someone who doesn't deserve it. 
I'll watch any of the old 80s or 90s monster horror movies any time though.
