No one ever said anything about axles and suspension. But I don't see why a crawl box wouldn't be a nice addition to a mild IFS rig.

What about a W59 trans, I have that to a 4 speed atlas. They come out of the 2.7 tacoma. You do have to cut the shit out of the floor though

Simply stating that it's a big investment and step up. I think it's too much money on a stockish IFS rig. Was easier back in the gear drive days where you could just drop in a lower gearset with little commitment.

Doesn't really matter what is down stream imo, if you want lower gearing for what you're doing, go for it.
